With shipping it comes up at $85.88 USD for me, which google converts to $115.16.

    • That's great! I just used the Amazon conversion but if people can get cheaper using their respective cards then even better.

    • And unless you're going to pay with a credit card which offers no currency conversion fee then in the end it will be a few extra dollars more.

Thanks op! Perfect for my new build :)

      My pleasure. Happy to help.

    • Forgot to mention..if your like me and like to get things a little bit faster it was only $3 extra for faster postage :)

Trying to hard not to buy 2x of these…i told myself i need more ram….but i swear ever since i found this site im spending more money than im saving!
    Really good deal op…too good……must resist.. :)

    • +1

yeah, same here, already got 16GB lol :p now i want to make it 32GB.. damn lol I will get enough ram to run a 20 GB ram drive

      • Lol ram drive. Perhaps an ssd would be the more prudent choice to fritter away excess cash 😉 try this one…
        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/202840

        • I got 4 SSDs including M.2 rolling in my rig that has 16GB ram :)

RAM drives are useful, because I have run comparisons such as loading games in SSD VS RAM drive. You can feel the difference right away, I can tell you that. BUT, when it plays, not much difference lol
You also need to counter with the INSTALL time (which also a lot faster)
RAM drives are very useful for VR stuff where users has to load up something of another OS for testing quick and get the respond.

  • Excellent price! :)

Literally bought this 4 years ago. haha And 1600Mhz Ram wasn't new then!

Oh I miss the days of Moore's Law and performance, performance, performance at any cost…. sigh…

i got the other one with different timing 4 years ago as well

crazy thing is I paid less back then. about $95
unheard of for old tech going up in value

    • +1

I literally bought these 4 weeks ago from MSY @ $177.00 + shipping.

This was the first deal here I was glad to see "Expired" on when I first read it.

  • Thanks, OP.

  • i just bought some tonight on SE while browsing there because of tightarse's deal… ="= (yes i am an ozbargainer noob)

May be a stupid question, but does corsair offer international warranty? Can't find the answer anywhere

    • +1

Corsair is absolutely brilliant in warranty and RMA, i bought obsidian 450d case and h100i gtx cooler for my build, the back fan on the case was not starting up. After opening a case on corsair support website they approved RMA within minutes after I used the online chat function on the website.
new Fan was shipped and I received it a week later. I am very happy with the support of that company

      • Not too worry, unless you need some urgently, this kind of deal will come by soon again.

  • got these for 100$ at umart 3 years ago still running smoothly

  • Its in stock but says it cant be shipped to my address?

    • As said above it was a seller who didnt ship to australia… price went up too. waited another 10 minutes checked again and all was good! they havnt taken the money out of account yet though? when do amazon usaully do that?
Thanks OP as instead of buying the 8GB dual channel kit for $91 I get double that for about $30 more which is a bloody bargain!

  • Are RAM prices finally dropping again?

  • Still showing in stock at $79.99 U.S. as far as I can see

  • Anyone know if this is compatible with 2013 imac?

      • Is that a no then?

This is why I asked, as I don't really understand the difference stated for late 2014 27" and late 2013 27". Is it the same RAM? Seems like the same thing just with more details specified for the 2013 model.

        • +2

          I see

          iMac (27-inch, Late 2013)
          Max RAM 32 GB
          PC3-12800 (1600) DDR3 204-pin SO-DIMM

iMac (27-inch, Late 2012 and later) computers have four SDRAM slots, each of which can accept a 4 GB, or 8 GB SO-DIMM.

Not compatible as this is Desktop Memory for sale.
          You need laptop memory - 204-pin SO-DIMM

You need something like this Crucial SODIMM DDR3 8GB 1600MHz
          http://www.computeralliance.com.au/sodimm-ddr3-8gb-1600mhz-1…

Check how many slots you have free first, recommend to install in pairs. Uncertain if all brands are compatible with the iMac 27".
