    Voda Sims don't have expiry. Some have claimed they activated 2 year old sims.

  Always wondered, how do these work.

  Im currently on vodafone. At the end of the month, do i port my number to the new starter pack. Repeating this process every month. How long does the porting process take?

  The other option I guess would be, buying $2 starter kits. Port to starter, then port back to vodafone starer kit.

    you would have to port out of vodafone, then back into a vodafone starter kit. Port in process should be really quick during working hours. I believe there isnt porting services on sunday too.

  The unlimited Weekend data was supposed to end on the 2nd of August, but I recently got a SMS stating it has been extended to the 16th of August.

  So do not buy 10 of them and assume unlimited data for all of them, currently it looks like it is just for 4 more Weekends.

  BTW, these starter packs were $5.00 in Kmart not long ago.

    i havent tried it.
    data quality on weekends is poor as per the feedback. perhaps someone here can provide a more recent experience.
