Free 2 Gold Class Cinema Vouchers When You Buy Acuvue Contact Lenses

120

Hi guys,

I found this promotion to get a couple of Gold Class tickets when you buy your contact lenses (Acuvue brand).

From the website:
Nothing beats contact lenses when unlimited field of view is paramount. Take watching 3D movies or outdoor activities for example. Contact lenses could give you freedom and clarity in situations where frames get in the way.
Never worn ACUVUE® contact lenses? For a limited time you can claim 2 Gold Class cinema vouchers when you purchase ACUVUE® brand contact lenses from your Optometrist.
T&Cs

So, if you are in the hunt for new contact lenses, you might as well go to the movies and put them to use… Gold Class style!

This tickets are good for any session, including No Free Tickets. $4 surcharge for 3D. You can claim through the website.

Enjoy!

hmm $26 is the cheapest for a pack of qualifying(1 Day Acuvue Moist) lenses at spec savers, the t&c says you get two gold glass tickets which I assume means two that can be used separately and not for two people. its $13 per gold class. not bad.

its $13 per gold class. not bad.

That's an understatement! It's normally $60. For one person!

      • Gold Class is $30 each

        • -1

not all are $30 they change the prices all the time

@kima: Yes prices change between $27 and $41, This event you mention is a special concert which is $40 in normal class, $60 in gold class. Gold Class is not normally $60.

  • Looks like you can't just go and buy them:
You must have never worn ACUVUE® Brand contact lenses.
You must be prescribed contact lenses by any licensed optometrist in Australia
    purchase in-store from any optometrist
    One claim per person

  • Get a free eyecheck with your medicare care at a different optometrist and buy the minimal amount of contacts?

  • The small print I read last week indicated that you must pay for a consultation.
I don't see those explicit details on the linked page, but the T&Cs do say:

    To claim, you must during the Promotion Period, (a) be prescribed contact lenses by any licensed optometrist in Australia; (b) purchase in-store any ACUVUE® brand contact lenses from any optometrist store in the same transaction as their contact lens prescription (Qualifying Purchase);

  • Hmmmm. I'm just curious how they will know if you have ever purchased Acuvue contact lenses before?

I coincidentally had my eyes checked on 2 June and that was all paid for my Medicare. I going to pop into my OPSM and see if they will 'prescribe' my contact lenses for me and I'll order one set for each eye as well. FYI I am a regularar user of Acuvue contact lenses but I usually purchase them from the SpecSaver deals.

I'll try to remember to post any success or failure results when I try to get a free gold class ticket.

    • Just submitted my claim. This is the pop up message I got from the website after I entered in my details.

      "THANK YOU!
We will verify your claim, and (if Valid) you will receive your claim code within 2 weeks.
Please check your Promotions mail Folder or Spam/Junk Mail Folder for updates from us."

      • And got the email from them. Hopefully they don't somehow check that I have ordered Acuvue before.

Thank you for choosing ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses.

This email is to confirm we have received your claim for 2 Gold Class cinema vouchers. So what happens next?
We will verify your claim (as per our terms and conditions).
Should everything check out, your unique claim code will be sent to you in the next 14 working days.
Your approval email will include a redemption code and detailed instructions on how to redeem and book your Gold Class experience.
For more information about this promotion, please email [email protected].
        Kind regards,
        Team ACUVUE®

  • Anyone know if there is a minimum spend? I can't seem to find anything. I just bought some contact lenses at OPSM Bourne street and the total after gap was $26.60. I split $15 on one card and the remainder in the other.

  • I can confirm that I got my code for the Gold Class tickets today. Yay.
