Don't preorder games, this could be terrible on release and they already have your money.

Especially on PC where there's unlimited keys, buy it once it's confirmed to be a good release.

    • +3

Those poor, poor souls who preordered Duke Nukem Forever.

      • +8

And 3/4 of the AAA's last year. Assassins creed, Arkham knight, etc. etc. etc. Publishers have shown they're willing to release terrible ports/games on PC, and when there's no scarcity there is no reason to pre-order.

And Bethesda is known for releasing buggy games :(

        • Whoever is negging you hasn't played on release, their games, on release, are buggy as crap. Many of their older games need 3rd party patches to fix many problems like Morrowind

      • +1

There is a reason for the word "Forever"…

    • +10

After playing Fallout 3 and New Vegas I would throw my money at Bethesda. Yeah their games are buggy but damn they more than likely amazing.

      • +3

        100% agree.

Bethesda is pretty much the ONLY company you can be pretty damn sure of a quality game.
Such a quality stable of recent high quality role playing games… Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 1 2 & 3, and Dishonored.

Really looking forward to this one!

        • pretty sure they didn't do Fallout 1 and 2. That was Black Isle. But yes I am looking forward to this one.

      • Don't forget skyrim haha

        • +2

Skyrim was awesome some of the bugs were dead annoying but the creativity behind it and the openness was absolutely amazing.

    • I completely agree.

On top of that, wait for Game of the Year edition on a Steam sale. Steam seem to sell Bethesda games at a very low cost, but with Game of the Year edition you'll get the patches and all the DLC. Plus there will be great mods out!

  • i really want a pip boy edition.. but this is a great price! How legit are they (gaming dragons) ?

  • +1

in question to the legitness see comment about this being a grey market and key being revoked at any time…

this being a grey market and key being revoked at any time

That was 2 years ago and one uneducated comment. Gaming Dragons is also not a market but a store. They have had many successful deals here. Any CD Key sites that don't have a direct relation to Steam/publisher all have a risk of keys being revoked. But hey, we've had no reports of this happening to Gaming Dragons keys here on OzBargain.

It seems you've read 1000+ positive responses to Gaming Dragons and have just picked out the one bad one to post.

Of course the person who runs an unauthorized key store attempts to defend another store running the same type of operation. The facts behind these types of stores are simple. It might not be illegal to purchase them, but it's a violation of the the games EULA. That means it's piracy. You're paying money to pirate a product. That isn't even speaking of the moral dilemma surrounding these stores due to the fact their existence screw over consumers in poor countries who want to purchase games legitimately.

Either purchase the game legitimately or just outright pirate the game. Everyone involved in the industry that knows the least bit about these type of stores would prefer you to do latter instead of the former. Piracy doesn't hurt anyone, but purchasing from these stores do. Don't waste your own money so you can have a sense of false legitimacy about your purchases.

        • There was a time when I used to post comments like you….and used to get down voted to oblivion for spreading the word of caution. It's good to know that things have changed since then :P

I have no affiliation with Gaming Dragons nor do I have any prior (or future) purchases from them.

Either purchase the game legitimately or just outright pirate the game

What sort of logic is that? The keys people buy from me, Gaming Dragons, CDKeys.com, etc, have to come from somewhere legitimate. Mine come from an authorised reseller out of the UAE.

Tryx, I am going to ask you nicely, in no patronizing tone, to not comment back and just to leave this debate alone as I clearly remember your concerns in my original forum topic back in February. We both know we're not going to come to an agreement on the subject, so instead of derailing this and future threads, I will refrain from making comments like this and ask you to do the same. Stores like mine and Gaming Dragons are allowed on OzBargain and you have a problem with that, which is completely fine as that is your prerogative. I am not going to dispute that.

However, if you still have your concerns over my business practices, you can feel free to PM me at any time and I will be most obliged to show you how I operate my business 'behind-the-scenes'.

        • @Dagmar:

Mate lets not derail the thread. Both Tyrx and I raised our concerns about your business back in February. Just because my neighbour is selling weed and hasn't been caught yet doesn't make his business a legitimate enterprise.

I deal with 're-sellers' like you on a daily basis. Sending them legal notices and shutting them down, along with the leaked distributor from whom they got their original batch.

Until and unless you can show a legal contract from the developer/publisher/authorized distributor which states your rights to sell those games, your business is not legit. 'I get it from a legit Middle East source' doesn't count.

And no you don't have to walk in to JB/EB to ask them who their distributor is, a quick google answers that. Or actually, if you email their head office and ask them that you are concerned about the legitimacy of their product's source and send them a legal letter, they will tell you who their source is. And when you track that source back, they can show you the proper distribution contracts.

Let me help you out with the answer anyways. EB,JB, etc shop fronts get majority of their stock from AID. Because we supply AID products to distribute to these shop fronts.

Then feel free to PM me as I will not be responding. I have nicely asked Tryx to not reply, now I will ask you. Please PM me your issues and I will be happy to address them.

:EDIT: The reason I will not be replying because this deal is for Gaming Dragons and not my store. I do not want to derail this thread for poor old OP. Thanks.

GMD-64799DB0 to bring it down to 42.27

I would wait instead of forking out $45-$50. Generally games go much cheaper a month or so before release. Arkham night went all the way down to low 20's just before their release, as did Battlefield 4 when i pre-ordered and the Witcher.

  • Oh Well, ive ordered my copy from them, Only time ive had a game revoked was when i purchased CS:GO from a different site (NOT GAMING DRAGONS) and that was sent as a gift not as a cd key.

Half my steam library is keys from such sites / humblebundle

  • any cheaper ones?
