    Eating sugary things generally makes you overweight, which can lead to diabetes…
    
    There are also links with the two, but without the weight gain, but the link is not clear as yet.
    
    Still, makes you wonder even without conclusive evidence, it it is purely genetic, then how does that account for this rapid increase in people being diagnosed diabetic these days younger and younger?
    
    I'm almost certain it will become our next epidemic…
