Crayola Marker Airbrush Set $23.99 @ Toys R Us or Target $23.99 (Pricematch & Get $10 Giftcard)

30

Here is how I got this deal:

You have to go to Toysrus and get a copy of their current Crayola catalogue (or print out from below, but I'd get the original), take this to Target and as for a pricematch +$10 giftcard as per their promotion.

http://catalogues.toysrus.com.au/catalogue/crayola-crazy-sal…

Target currently have it advertised for $32.

The manager tried to get out of giving me the deal, stating that it is not advertsied in their (Targets) toy catalogue, I asked her to show me where it is written in the deal and she was still refusing, so it escalated to phoning customer relations who after some time couldn't find any mention of this and I got the deal.

I was originally trying to get them to pricematch some shopkins, however the attitude of the manager at that point made me go find something to get the gift card deal… :)

You should either be prepared for a fight or no problem at all, good luck

    $25 in-store

And obviously the $23.99 @ Toys R Us.

What I'm getting at is an argument isn't really worth $10 imo. All you need is a memo/correction put out to ensure it's only deals from the catalogue, and this deal is null and void.

    • The argument was the whole point for me, if you run a campaign, promote your price guarantee, then try to wean out of it, it just makes me want it more; also it is false advertising, anti competitive etc

Anyway, worked twice for me, one store gave it with little issue, the other chose to fight it and lost :)

Price is only one thing. These things doesn't sell well because no one can be certain it is safe.

    • Did you even look at the product? I have no idea what the relevance of you link is to this deal?? Maybe if you buy this from Toysrus/Target Wittenoom

  • Beware, when these things first came out some time ago, I bought one and it did not work. Piece a junk. It was $19.99 then. Just saying..

  • Not sure about what promotion says, nor do i care but before this toy sale it has always been that at Target and other department stores that the price you are trying to match has to be advertised, as in physical printed material, maybe online if you get a nice employee. I wouldn't bother for $10 probably because i would rather avoid confrontation or argue. Each to their own still. This was your point i take it. No 2 stores would be the same even if they are the same name.
