    Would like to know too.. because I'm thinking.. can't we just make a purchase at "Domayne @ HN" Alexandria? Would that be the same thing?

      I've purchased HN giftcards before and you could always use it at both stores.

      Why not just give a Domayne store a call just to be sure?

        No I'm not wondering whether HN gift cards can be used at both stores, but more so wondering whether a transaction made at "HARVEY NORMAN @ DOMAYNE ALEXANDRIA" (#3 on that list) would qualify as part of this promo.

        But either way, probably wouldn't hurt to call them. I just wonder whether they will be a little confused..

        Oops sorry, I keep sticking to the giftcard approach :)
        Which incidentally would then allow you to get the Amex rebate and also widen your purchasing options.

        @kacak: Yea so the gift card approach would work fine, provided that either:

        • Domayne sell HN Gift Cards (or some other useful gift cards)
        • HN sell a useful gift card, and transactions at Harvey Norman @ Domayne Alexandria (as opposed to just Domayne Alexandria, if such a difference exists) are eligible as part of this promo

  Max 10% discount if you spend 'exactly' $500.
  Most of their items are usually overpriced (and they will raise the price further for this promotion). so you are lucky if you manage to get any discount at all.

    Then just buy a giftcard first and spend whenever you wish over a 2 year period.

    Edited to add: Before anyone jumps in about the giftcard exclusion in the T&C, I've never seen it enforced by Amex.

      I've just read the T&C and I can't seem to find anything which mentions that gift card purchases are excluded.
