Found this in Wednesday's Daily Telegraph on page 3.

Receive a $30 Myer Gift Card

When you spend $150 or more in-store across Women's, Men's, Children's, Miss Shop Clothing, Footwear and Fashion Accessories from Wednesday 22 July to Friday 24 July 2015.
Spend excludes men's suits, sunglasses, watches, intimate apparel, gift card purchases, Lay-by, customer orders via the tablet, and some food and service outlets.
Purchase must be in one transaction. Bonus gift card is a Myer Gift Card and not Coles Group and Myer Gift Card, and cannot be redeemed in qualifying spend transaction.

    If you do the maths it is only 20% off if you spend $150. Offers like this are only good if:

    a) You were going to buy clothing/footwear/fashion from Myer during the promotional period.

    b) You are one of the many people who only buy clearance or items that are currently on sale.

    Most likely I won't be participating in this deal but I have a general question. Do the staff let you purchase a Coles Myer gift card with a Myer gift card?

      T&Cs of Myer gift cards state you cannot buy gift cards with a Myer gift card. See Myer website.

      In a previous post someone said they convinced a Myer cashier to try it & their system would not let it go through.

      I guess Myer would be inundated with people swapping unwanted Myer gcs over for Coles Myer Group gcs if it was allowed.
