This is a really good mechanical keyboard ideal for both Gamers and those who simply type a lot (i.e. Office duties) and want to do a favour to this fingers. Seriously once you go mechanical you can't go back, it makes it so much easier to type. The main advantage of mechanical keys is that the keypress is triggered without having to actually push the key all the way in, so it in effect cushions your fingertips.

It uses industry leading Cherry MX mechanical switches under each key. It comes in 4 types of Cherry MX keys: Red, Blue, Brown and Black:

Red - No tactile feedback once the key press has been triggered (very quiet typing sound)
Brown - Tactile feedback once the key press has been triggered but no clicker for extra noise (moderate typing sound)
Blue - Tactile feedback once the key press has been triggered with an extra clicker (loud, like a typewriter)
Black - Like Red but stiffer to help prevent accidental key press (can be harder on your fingers)

Very good price for a Cherry MX mechanical keyboard, with backlit keys, Full N-key rollover (all keys can be pressed at the same time and all will be triggered), and even Macro recording.

Next closest would be Logitech G710+ (Cherry MX Brown, $129 at MSY if you can't get to PC Case Gear in VIC or a Click & Collect Woolworths)

    It's $140 not $90…

  • It's a voucher, not a cash back.
    So it's really $140, for a keyboard with a $50 voucher.

      edited. maybe more clear now

  • That's not right. It's $140

$119 for a mechanical keyboard is good if you can pick it up in Victoria from PCCG.

  • $119 at PLE Computers too

  • It's a pity this keyboard is such an ugly looking thing. Gakkkk, what a cumbersome shape.

It must have been designed to appeal to pimply teenagers LOL.

    • "I am one with my keyboard"
