    Similar to racv, there would be no extra charges for resolving standard issues. But unlike racv, you're not out of pocket for membership or subscription fees when you're not using the service.

      but if you use the service more than once in a year, you'll probably be out of pocket…

        In my experience, I'd previously had racv for 15 years and used their roadside assistance about 6 times all up. At roughly $100 a year plus membership it's cost $1600 so dividing that by 6 has cost $266 per call out. Using Road Angels service would have saved me $1186 in the long term ($1600 - $414 = &1186). So personally, having that money free'd up would be much better as I could have bought a new MacBook :)

  Or look at changing your car insurance to one of the many that give you roadside assist free (or at least for the first year).

  Do they include towing if required like RACV?
  Apart from locking yourself out or flat battery, there's not a lot they can do that won't require parts & or towing.

  Also their coverage map looks like only 10km radius of CBD.

    Looks like they don't include towing, but it should be added in the future.
