    PLUS……

    Someone has already posted for these tickets -

    • That appears to be a code that is unique to sessions in Victoria only. This is for sessions in several cities across Australia.

      Also not sure why this film specifically requires a "watch the trailer first" warning? You've now put this on two deals in relation to this movie.

      • I specifically stated to watch the trailer as some people are homophobic.

        • +2

          don't think the neg is necessary. he is not encouraging homophobia. just advising the film contains it for those who may not wish to see this type of movie.

        • -2

          Actually thanks for the reminder, was thinking it was a normal romantic story. Not my cup of tea…

        • +5

          @kima:

          Might actually be good for those who are homophobic to go watch this film, particularly as its free! A beautiful story now on the big screen. Can't wait

        • @power71: I am sure I will enjoy it too. but doesn't mean you should shove your views down other peoples throats, if people don't want to see that sort of thing then that's their right not too. more tickets for those of us who do.

        • +6

          @kima:

          Poor choice of words. I'm not shoving anything down anyones throat ;)

        • +1

          @power71: lol

        • +6

          @kima:

          Providing 'warnings' about movies containing homosexuality actually facilitates homophobia in a pretty significant way.

          If people don't want to see a movie with gay relationships, that's certainly their prerogative (no 'shoving of views' happening here). But to support the notion that these movies require special cautionary advice so as to forewarn or not offend homophobes?

          Yikes.

        • +5

          Wow! Do you warn your racist friends to watch the trailers to movies with people of colour?

  • last time I got tickets from this site they cancelled the film the night before

    • -2

      I got tix to see the preview on Wed 5th (a couple of days ago). I'd watched the trailer and had a fair idea of what it was about before seeing it. Without spoiling the film for others, let's just say it's "trying"… by that I mean it's really difficult and somewhat unsettling to watch because of what happens in the film.

      • Wow, again with the negs. My comment wasn't in the least bit homophobic. It wasn't a bad film. Just depressing. Don't expect it to be a romantic comedy, that's all. It was also in response to the poster saying his tickets were cancelled last time.

        I've never had problems with free tickets from SFF. They didn't even check ID.

        I guess I should keep my opinions to myself. I won't bother with commenting on OzBargain ever again since you guys LOVE using negs and making people feel so welcome here… go ahead and neg me silly!
