      Good question, I'm not sure if the CM9s are the S2. I presume they were because a lot of the sale is brand new stock.
      The CM9s are really nice. I was tossing up between them or another couple of speakers they had there. Although I did hear them coupled to a really nice amp ;-) I'll ask in the morning, and update this deal if they are, otherwise if anyone local is interested try ringing the store, they will let you know. They open at 10am. Sale finishes at 4pm tomorrow.

        I bought the dennon 4100 that was on here a little while ago so just looking for some speakers to go with it. Cheapest I can find the CM9 S2's is just under $3400 in Perth.

        Was that the one from Amazon.de? Ive seen them pop up a few times but fairly apprehensive to pull the trigger. How was your experience with it all?

        Building a house atm and slowly wanting to pick up bargains for the theatre and the 4100 is a solid price esp whenat that same price point here would be an x2100

        Still a pretty good price for the CM9s. The reason this Frankston Hi-Fi sale is a really big one is due to the 30th anniversary, apparently partly to thank all the customers for 30 years of support.

        They even had representatives from the different manufacturers there last night, showing there appreciation for years of support that Frankston Hi-Fi have shown them. The only reason I believe the prices are so low is because the manufacturers have reduced the cost price to help with the sale. All the prices are less than my mates staff buy price. Don't expect to see this level of discount again any time soon, so the CM9s for under $3400 in Perth is still a pretty good buy.

        The Denon X4100 is a great amp! They had that there as well. Probably more than I want to spend though.

        @BradeDoe: Pretty straight forward. I got a card in the post yesterday so it's taken about 2 weeks to get here. I won't be able to get it for another 2 weeks though so can't comment on it's condition

        @hotcold: Not sure sorry. It was quite a bit more than the AVR-X3100, which I was more interested in. Can't find it in any of the photos I took either. I have messaged my mate, just waiting on the reply, then I will let you know.

  As for them B&W 683S2 - 2090 & NOT $1690 as mentioned above..
  You can get it $2000 delivered from some other vendors. So no for me..

  What's the price on the Marantz nr1605 (or lower end slimline amps are ok too)? Is it possible to pay postage to Perth (or even organise my own courier pickup if need be)?

    For other's info you can organise a courier pickup. They close at 2pm today. Marantz nr1605 is $849.

      Thanks for the heads up. I didn't remember seeing the slim line receivers, but it was packed when I was there. They had too many items on sale to look at, and I only took a few photos.
