Not really worth it anymore with shipping cost and weak Aus dollar

    • I'm surprised any ozbargainer is still posting eastbay deals.

Totally not worth it imo even with 30% off which hasn't been seen in years

      • I guess it's dependent on the product you are after. On the product I am looking at, I will save 20% off Australian retail prices even though the AUD is in the gutter.

        • What product are you buying?

        • @bti_jet:

Adidas Adipower Weightlifting shoes. Looks like I got in just in time - they've been added to the exclusion list today.

        • @Hieu:

There $20 cheaper than local stock atm. Even with the discount, $50-60 off.

Not worth it in my eyes. I'd rather buy them from here.

        • @bti_jet:

$161 USD / $219 AUD per pair shipped. If you can find me two size 9's for under $240 locally, I sir, bow down to you.

I don't think any OzBargainer would forgo a $50-60 saving just for the sake of buying locally?

        • @Hieu:

You would if you've ordered runners from them in the past and end up with a few bad pairs of runners.

I wrote back to them and they only have me a $10USD voucher.

If you want to take the risk on a pair of not perfect runners to save a measly 50 bucks go for it.

I'd rather wait for a sale somewhere then buy em.

For example I was looking at the adidas springblade for a long time. I end up getting them for $90 look how much they are on eastbay. Last time I checked they were over $200 au

I wrote back to them and they only gave me a $10USD voucher one time, after receiving 4 pairs of defective runners.

Yep, comparative to sportspower my adidas runners $99 and on eastbay approx $99 delivered
For tennis shoes Barricades are $125 AUD from tennisonly and they are $99 US from easybay (not including shipping)

Not worth it sorry - no neg though as i only provided 2 examples out of the hundreds of shoes they have!

    • It's not worth it on pretty everything on there site. I use to buy runners, tees, pants in the past.

Now I find them cheaper locally, plus everyone seems to forget about there ridiculous shipping fees and the fact if an item is no good throwing it in the bin.

No neg but a true ozbargainer don't buy from EB only noobz

Thanks op- impossible to find size 18's in Aus.

    Thanks
any haggling tips to get better prices?

    • Its an American based website, you can contact them but i doubt they would give you any further discounts.

    Any bargains?

Thanks OP, will be useful, need a new pair of bball shoes and throw in some nice superstars to get the discount. Even if the AUD sucks right now, the range of shoes and colourways in Australia is pathetic, and it's just easier to go to eastbay than to wander around the shopping centres hoping that they might have something decent.
