The entire range was on a flash sale over at MLN a month ago. Even cheaper than this it was nuts, I picked up a laptop bag for $40 delivered and it's amazing. Watch all their video's and pick the right one suited for you, they definitely are all different and hold different size laptops (+other things too).

    • Whats MLN?

      • some tech site i subscribed only to their weekly deal or whatever newsletter. worth it imo.

      • MLN is a laptop store.

    • Where was the post? :(

      • Sorry mate I wasn't ozbargaining then really

  • wasn't this the one that went on sale from dick for 40 something? or is it a different one?

EDIT: nvm, my bad, this is a different one!

Seems like it has a few gimmicky features. Still, 100 bucks seems alright. I doubt many airports would let you put your laptop through without taking it out of the bag. They specifically tell you to take it out. Doubt they'd see this bag n go oh yeah seems legit.

  • Has anyone ever tried these bags in Australian airports? If so what is the success rate at not taking the laptop out? I like the concept but would get a different bag if it's more likely I have to take the laptop out to clear security.

I had a checkpoint friendly backpack, but as the checking policy depends on who was the idiot Indian chief of the day / the shift , paying extra extra dollar for this so called friendly bag was definitely not ozbargainian. My friendly bag was always checked, my surface pro 3 tablet and IPad mini were always pulled out and placed In a ugly and dirty black plastic tray in a unfriendly way. So there was nothing really friendly about this type of bag !!

    • I feel your pain, cold hard plastic tray. They don't make bags like they used to. I use an incase branded bag.

  • I have this bag.. got it for half the price about a year ago during an eBay sale.

I've never bothered to not take the laptop out during security check. There's no point.

  • Yeah, my life is so hard I can't spend 2 seconds taking my laptop out of my bag…

  • Is the site experiencing a great slowdown? I can't checkout. :(
