Can you remove the domain names from your links, it's really annoying.

      No…

    • +1

That's not annoying… THIS is annoying: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!

    • +1

I don't think they are annoying. More like there's enough spaces to seperate US and AU to avoid misclicks

It's using up more pixels on my monitor. More wear and tear…

        • +2

          Those pixels get used regardless.

Mine don't, they go into sleep mode when not in use.

Can we blame you for the same thing regarding many of your posts ;)

Considering how many times you post I think wear and tear on your monitor (and keyboard) is on you :)

No, because it is your choice to display my posts.
That's what the 'hide' button is for…

          Here, we have no choice…

@jv: mate, i was totally unaware of this feature. This is the only useful comment you've ever made on this site. Now I get to hide all your future useless, pompous comments.

          and save your pixels !!!

          Win for you.

Please provide a link to a technology solution that allows my pixels to go into sleep mode when viewing a version of this thread that doesn't have the domain names following the links.

    • JV's having a bad day.

      • What makes you say that?

        • Your first post and then the following action… Can you remove the domain names from your links, it's really annoying…

Posted a few of these earlier

Sorry, where? I'm sure none of these are dupes?

      • I put the link in my comment :)

        • -2

That link has a list of apps that aren't the same as these. Am I missing something?

        • @tightarse: Looking through the list I think it's just the Sudoku app.

        • +1

@tightarse: To clarify, I wasn't meaning to say your links were dupes, just that I had posted some other games/apps if people were interested in those as well.

@cbeard: Cheers. Just a little slow today :)

  • do you know how long there will be discounted for?
I'm at work and my tablets are at home ;(

    • I'm guessing a few days, as the US links are yet to go free. You should be fine :)

    • +1

Based on previous sales, if you get them this evening you'll be fine

    • +3

you dont need to be on your tab, just log in to your amazon account. You can install them on the tab later.

      • How do you do that on Windows? If I click on "continue" it tells me to download Amazon Appstore, but it is for Android? Thanks.

        • How you set up the amazon ap store on your device? If you have as long as you are logged in you can buy aps using whatever browser you like on whatever OS you like. You just buy the ap then later when you are on the device you can access the aps you own and install it.

        • @Duff5000:

          I will try again, thanks.

  • Useful bloatware

    • Nyan Cat tho.

    • Got Terraria a while ago so it's always worth checking

  • +2

Pro Tip: Log on to Amazon Appstore AU website, then click those links above. Purchase with 1 click no need to download to your device straightaway. It's considered purchased then you install whenever you want

If its Amazon US, then just change your 1-Click settings to US address save logout log back in

You are not eligible to purchase this app due to geographical restrictions. ???

  • +2

I appreciate they're free but so many of these apps have permissions completely incommensurate to the type of apps they are. Why on earth a simple single-player game needs to be on the net in real-time, access your accounts, create alarms, etc. begs questions.

Data mining, I am sure that many purchasers of this data know more about me than little old me know? Amazon does.

Perhaps this should be a forum topic and perhaps there is a solution to this mining that does not cost. It is also p/annoying to deleate many background apps many times a session!

      • +1

I believe there is a free app called "noroot firewall", that performs a firewall function by using your phone's VPN ability. I believe it functions by "losing" all the data packets from apps that you haven't whitelisted. It can supposedly block apps from accessing the internet.

However, I don't know if Amazon apps will still function without internet access.

    • Watch "Terms and conditions may apply" on Netflix and you will get your answers

Better yet watch it for free if you already got a voucher from Optus or AMEX deal

      • Sadly no AMEX deal and use Westnet $20-00 first generation plan [never cancell until 3G stops] Westnet has free data for Netflix use. You pelis works ok so far.

    Trainyard is fantastic :D

  • Thanks op, only 1 not comparable and yes I chose not to download, two purchased in last year and a half.

    We love your work.

    • Thanks op, only 1 not comparable and yes I chose not to download, two purchased in last year and a half.

      Comparable to what?

      • compatible. Let's not go there with the blue jokes.

  • Web site says free but when opened with the app it goes to the dollar amount.
Loaded up in desktop full site and its free and purchase able.

  • +2

Be careful, The Lost Chapter is no longer free in the US app store

  • Amazon are bringing their grocery delivery service to Australia. Just kicked-off in the UK. Here, eventually.

Despite the slings and arrows, hang-in there, TA.

ONE DAY, one fine day, I'm sure that we'll be able to enter coupon codes like 'AMAZONARSE' and 'ARSEAZON' for some truly amazing deals - and all will be 'right with the world.

  • Hey OP, can you remove the jv comments from your links, they're really annoying…

  • I like how 'Cupcake recipes' is followed by 'Daily Ab Workout' :)

  • TA the king of OzB - another superb deal here mate
