    • Great to pick up nerdy chicks with

  • Thanks so much TA!! :) love those codes!

  • +8

Ok these codes are getting real weird!

Make sure you don't let the barrel connectors touch the pins on the flat connector - that could short your USB charger/port.

  • I have a 3-1 and it won't charge later iPhones at all. Don't even get an error message. The phone just refuses to acknowledge it. You may have a similar experience with this one.

    • +1

sure its not a dud cable?

  • +1

most of the times not all the cables will actually charge

  • edit

  • I am guess a few of the connectors you will never use.
Its all micro USB at home for us - I suppose mini usb for the gps in the car but havent used it for a few years now.
I am sure I have something else, old ipod but once again it hasnt been used for a while.

  • Nice thanks TA

  • Even if you change currency to AUD, is the charge still in USD? If so, then title should be updated to USD1.10, which may turn out to be not exactly AUD1.50

    • Re the title, I originally had it in USD but it was then changed by the mods. You may need to ask them.

      • Thanks. I changed to AUD right at the start. But then got confusing messages right at the end as to whether I was charged AUD1.50 or USD1.10.

According to PayPal I paid AUD1.50, so I guess the moderators are correct

Just a heads up that I bought a cable that looked exactly like this about 10 years ago bundled with a USB car charger from a $2 shop, two of the connectors made contact with each other after a couple of days (which was bound to happen sooner or later) and it literally went up in smoke. This design looks identical given that it uses the same obsolete connectors. Honestly the design is a fire hazard and could damage your devices.

  • 502 Bad Gateway
    nginx

    • Looks like their whole site is down, not just the link. Maybe try later?

      • +2

Yep! Wondered about nginx, learn something new everyday.

Nginx (pronounced "engine x") is a web server with a strong focus on high concurrency, performance and low memory usage

        LOL.

        • I just learned that too.

I honestly thought 'nginx' is just what you shout when you click a link from ozb and the site is down.

  • 502 bad gateway? Has it expired

    • +1

No the whole site is down, rather ozbargained.

  • Or pay 8c more @ eBay

  • don't see a lightning cable

  • Don't know about these guys seems their site has a bad gateway.

  • Looks like it's expired… coupon code doesn't seem to do anything at all.
Actually you can type anything you want in the coupon code field and it accepts it but does nothing.
