Hi I can confirm that it worked for me at Thomastown this morning.

  • It's potentially a good deal… just do the math Ozbargainers. 40 litres saves you $1.60, so you really need a cheap item to come out ahead. (Not knocking the OP for the find.)

    • Not necessarily a really cheap item, but an item, which, once you discount $1.60 (in your 40 litre example) is considered to be an acceptable price.

      • Also need to make sure you time it with the lowest point of the price cycle (which looks like it will be within a week/10 days) so you don't end up paying more than you would have paid 4 days later.

Can I use shopping docket 4 cents discount along with this offer?

    • "Can I use shopping docket 4 cents discount along with this offer?"

Aye, 'can it be stacked'? This is the main question…

The 'usual' deal offered at Coles Express is 10 cents off per litre if you spend $20 in the shop, and this can defo' be 'stacked' with a docket to achieve 14 cents off per litre… From what I gather, most peeps buy 2x the 'Quilton 20 pack' of toilet paper to achieve the $20, as it's priced the same as it is at Coles supermarkets; $10 each. But that's about the only thing you can 'realistically' use to avail yourself of the 10 cents off deal and there's only so much toilet paper you can use. So the deal posted here would be useful, particularly for doing 'top-ups' on days when you notice that petrol is particularly cheap/at the bottom of the price cycle; provided it 'stacks' with a docket.

    • yes :)

  • Finishes Sunday 23 August and is Victoria and Albury only.

    • extended to this sunday 30th :)

  • My local Coles servo is exactly 4c more expensive than the Woolworths servo nearby. That's b4 using the 4c docket at either - stkilda

Would it apply to the free bottle of water or coffee when using the atm?

      Think about what you're asking.

      • You have to think how the system works. Water shows as a regular item with the full price on the invoice, not an adjusted price. The coupon is a separate item that reduces the total. The real question is can offers be stacked.
