DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE!!! They take forever to ship your items. I'm still waiting for items that was despatched on 7th Dec. I'm hoping it will come! :-s Apparently people get some of their items after 1 month, and not all at once!
Yup same story here, waiting on items dispatched on the 8th of December (order on the 22nd of November!). So my Kids missed out on some of their presents :(
Won't be ordering from these guys again and my experience says this is a bad deal regardless of the price…
Sure, they take a while but they are cheap. As long as you don't want the order in a hurry, then it's fine. I'm happy to wait a week or three for a game to arrive if I can get it half price! I have plenty of other games to play in the meantime.
Everything I have ordered so far from CDWOW have turned up. Some items arrive fast. I guess it depends if they have stock. Occasionally it can take up to a month, like with my MW2 Throat Communicators - they may have been shipped by sea rather than Air Mail.
Confirmed. Items never received. Rubbish website, horrible service and no contact details. Avoid.
In their defense they are in the same position as Deal Extreme & Focal Price … everything I have ordered (quite a lot of CDs / DVDs) has come via Hong Kong - and apparently over the last few months Hong Kong post hasn't been able to cope with the amount of outgoing mail they've had, which has caused many delays through these websites.

In addition, with the impact of global financial crisis, airlines have cut back on their flights. These have resulted in the overall supply of air cargo space lagging far behind demand. Hence delays by one to two weeks have been caused to outbound air mail for a number of destinations including Brazil, Russia, the US and Europe since late October.
Hongkong Post is most concerned about the situation. With our efforts to secure extra air cargo space from all possible sources and arrange chartered flights, as well as to liaise with other postal administrations to dispatch air mail via postal transfer, the situation regarding the conveyance of outbound air mail has noticeably improved. Presently the outbound air mail service may still experience a delay of three to five days, but hopefully will resume normal after Christmas."
They do have some good bargains from time to time, but if you're using them you just have to be patient - if you're in a hurry or are only saving a dollar or two, its probably not worth using these guys.
