  Just can't stomach all this 1366x768 nonsense that plagues the budget laptop space. FHD screens are ridiculously cheap these days so it can only be artificial market differentiation.

    You can get Chromebooks with full-HD and 4GB for this sort of price, if you don't need windows.

  can anyone comment whether this could be used in place of a NUC for a HTPC? I want to output HD audio and as I understand it the atom processors wont do that - want to hook up HDMI to amp and output HD audio and vid. I would have thought hooking this up to an external TV/monitor you would get full DH output - anyone know for sure? I know my 1st gen windows tablets do. cheers
