    I almost bought it but saw some review in comment section and stopped myself.

    • 105 ratings on COTD website, average 4 stars. Make your own judgement offcourse.

        41% gave one star in amazon

          Negative reviews usually give more of an insight to a product than the positive reviews.

          Takeaways:
          Not very comfortable
          Poor noise cancellation (very little/ no difference when used on flights)
          Low build quality
          Low maximum volume control

          Not sure what people are trying to expect for under $20 headphones. Expectations too high.

          @bargainerftw: Probably because the product photos make it look like a premium product.

          @ATangk:

          Why do negative reviews give more insight than positives? You'd think if someone was angry about it they'd be more driven to write a review rather than the someone who's happy.

          I think that's more a case of it's easier to pick on flaws than look at the positives.

          @bargainerftw: Well, COTD tried to say "dont pay $149"

          Because 5 star comments are more likely to contain one line.
          Also, I was pertaining to comments with a 'cons' section within the review, to let others know what might be at fault.
          If i was going to buy something, id like to know the shortcomings and not just what its good for.
          What good is a car with luxury interiors and styling if the engine cannot be started?

          Well I wouldn't mind a $14.99 + PH luxury car that cannot be started :)

          @plmko:

          Not too sure about 'luxury' but here

        • @bargainerftw:

          I got some awesome headphones for $10, they've lasted two years so far. :)

  • nice thanks

  • not bad deal if you try not to think of them as noise cancelling

    This is the kind of product that costs Sony $5 USD to make but can sell in a airport or boutique electronics store for $50 apiece simply because of brand name and marketing

    • bingo!

      If only they knew it also dilutes their brand $5 at a time also. Then Sony's marketers and accountants keep wondering why they can't make any money this century when they keep pissing on their own brand

  • They claim "Don't pay $149" but where are they $149?

    They are $25 in the US.

    I'd consider $4.99 if shipping wasn't so expensive and they had 1 cord not 2 dangling down.

    I'm looking out for a cheapo pair of headphones to throw in my Uni Bag but these aren't quite what I'm after.

  • dont waist your money, any cheap headphones that are on ear will be so uncomfortable. if these were over ear you may be ok. stay away.

  • I joined club catch, enters the code and then it says, conditions not met..

    • same :(
