Ice TV are going to launch their Skippa service soon (I don't know what that is - the only relevance is that it's an excuse to have a discount). From now until midnight on Thursday 20th, they are doing 50% off their multi-device subscriptions.
Deal 1 is a 1 year deal for $49 (down from $99) - coupon is double_the_fun_1
Deal 2 is a 5 year deal for $124 (down from $249) - coupon is double_the_fun_5

IMHO the 1 year deal doesn't compare with some years when I've gotten subs for $33… but the 5 year deal is good value. I just hope my current PVR lasts another 5 years..

Both deals are limited to the first 500 signups.

  • They have also doubled the amount of devices you can record on from 5 to 10 with one account now too.

    • I have found IceTV worth it over the free alternatives.
I just hope they make a better app, especially for iPad. Works well, but starting to look very old.

  • Shame the code doesn't work for the single T3 device subscription.

  • "SKIPPA will automatically find and record your favourite TV shows until you’re ready to view them – with none of the time limitations you get with Catch up TV. Best of all, you’ll never again have to sit through all those unavoidable ads you get on Catch Up TV – SKIPPA lets you enjoy playback of your favourite shows AD-FREE"

    • will be interesting to see how the Skippa goes.

  • What is this? This is something my dad would have liked to have used… But I don't have much interest in many free to air TV programs, and the ones I am interested in are available online with a few methods

  • Will FTA TV exist in 2020?

I am a long-term subscriber and find the guides are sometimes lacking - even completely wrong as TV stations are changing programming waay more frequently these days. Program descriptions are often vague, or written poorly. IceTV need more (mature) staff to maintain a product at this (bargain?) price.
Yep. Beginning to think about no longer subscribing.

Hard to say. I don't have 20/20 vision.

  • Been using ICE TV for years, love the layout and ease of use, this is a dam good deal.
