  • Choices choices… Not sure if I should pick up this or the Teclast X98 Pro.

    • How often do you see yourself using a keyboard? If a lot, I'd definitely go with the T100. Otherwise the Teclast is very nice as a tablet alone

      • I have the keyboard from another deal so not too fuss. The Microsoft Bluetooth one from MSY that has a slot of tablets to sit in. Not all in one but works nonetheless.

    • That'll depend completely on how cheap you can get an X98 Pro for. The specs on it seem quite superior (4GB RAM, newer CPU), though the t100 should out perform in battery life once the included dock battery is factored in.

Ultimately this shouldn't matter though, it comes down to performance or keyboard. Personally haven't heard of Teclast as a brand, though the 4GB of RAM is impressive.

      • there isnt any dock battery.

        • Aw right, I'm thinking of the older Asus Android transformers.. Oops

        • @dyl: that was a long time ago, for the ealier Android tablets that they made.

But the tablet doest have a really long battery life on its own, I'm getting 7 to 8 hrs from web browsing, doc editing.

  • What happened to the Z3740 & Z3770 versions? The T100 is a getting pretty old now and I would have expected the older faster ones at around this price by now.

    • I just bought the T200 with the Z3775 off Amazon last week, hope these things are decent. Will be my first Windows "tablet".

  • IT's really good and good price but for anybody one the fence the new one is comming:

    2GB of Ram. My god….
This is good for people who only surf the net and play minesweeper.

    • or Crysis - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMqnm6nDWVs

Some other games it can play - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZm4OxyzjSc&list=PLz9iv3UfoD…

I got this during the EOFY sale, and I'm quite amazed at the number of games that will play on this (at the lowest settings)

IT's still a shitty computer. Those specs are awful.
I'll never play a game on the lowest settings unless it's CS:Go.

A few hundred more and you have yourself a computer worth buying. Crysis is an old game too.

        • You wouldn't get it for its performance aspects, but the fact that you can use it as a tablet, right? What tablet is worth buying for what price then?

You did read 'transformer' right? This is a tablet.. <5w tdp on that CPU, coupled with low powered graphics.. This isn't some 65-90w desktop CPU.
I don't think it was ever intended to play games. As you mentioned, it would be good for browsing the web, as it was intended for.

        • It's actually a great little computer for the purposes it's designed for.
I'm sure your nerd tower would be “shitty” tablet too.

        • It's all about the expectations of the device. I didn't look to buy this computer to play Crysis, but it handles Internet, movies etc fine.

    • it's saying "out of stock" on DSE eBay tho~

  • del plz
