    Code is CVIPTREAT.
    Not targeted.

    • Thanks, updated!

    • +9

It is targeted - if you didn't get email doesn't work / won't apply.

      • It is targeted - at everyone who uses ebay (It's on the front page of www.ebay.com.au)

        • +1

I don't see it on eBay front page.

        • +1

Not true - doesn't work for everyone you have to be a 'vip' whatever that means. See comments.

  • +1

    Code is CVIPTREAT

    edit beaten.

Any bargain socks and undies?, hope the price does not get inflated.

      I hope the undies are inflatable ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Thanks OP ! Great time to redeem $50 eBay voucher

    • would this code work with the $50.00 voucher?

      • is the $50 a voucher or credit already listed to your account? Might not be able to use if a voucher/code:

Gift cards/certificates/vouchers are excluded from this offer.

        • +3

I thought this meant you cannot buy gift cards/certificates/vouchers using this offer.

Very good price for the Canon 70D 18-55mm Kit from The Good Guys - only $928.40 + postage after $150 cashback from Canon.

    • 18-135mm kit is better.

      • +2

TGG doesn't sell that kit, nor does any other authorised Australian Canon retailer included in this sale so it wouldn't be eligible for the cashback offer.

        • ah fair enough. I got my kit set for 1.5k with extra 2 year warranty and a filter lense. Was able to get TRS off it and also the usual woolies % off stuff

        • +6

          @Turd: cool story, bro

        • +1
    • Sorry, press the wrong button, should have pressed the up not the neg. Bought one. But seems not many stock, they sold a lot during the last $900plus sale.

    • ….but "Purchases made via ebay are not eligible for a Canon cashback." from a comment on page 3 of this post.

      • If it was a random seller it wouldn't be, but Ted's is an authorised Canon dealer so it would be :)

        • Cool, but are Ted's prices so high as this deal doesn't really help?

        • @malouphix:
Yep, as with DSE's own online store (daily sale) is cheaper than DSE Ebay (after 20%)
Always check the prices before you buy!

        • @cwongtech: Pity. :(

Yeah, always check before believing retailers hype.

    • Yay! Got one, TGG also dropped the price on this to $1299!
      So $1299 - 20% - 2.5% + $5 postage - $150 CB = $861.73 very happy. Thanks guys.

VIP only today. Starts for general public tomorrow!

    • +3

Um… There's a search box if you click the deal pic/link at the top. (I didn't neg either - but that's probably why 21 others did.)

      • -4

        Dunno why , I said please.lol

Time to use my $5o ebay coupon

  • +1

    Any good laptop deals?

  • -3

There is potential for some OK bargains with 20% AND the $50 voucher, assuming we can find deals between the consciously inflated prices.

    • +1

There is potential for some OK bargains with 20% AND the $50 voucher, assuming we can find deals between the consciously inflated prices.

Maybe. Clause 11 in offer suggests not:

"Not to be used in conjunction with any other eBay coupon/voucher."

      • +1

Looks like you are right, but we will have to wait and see if it works or not.
Last time I selected the voucher it preloads so you still would have the chance to add a discount in the checkout. It depends on how they have set it up. Who knows?

  • +6

lol… whole bunch of stuff showing out of stock at Dick Smith…

    • +14

price will be jacked up soon and come back

      it's dickie

    1. Not to be used in conjunction with any other eBay coupon/voucher.
  • if you apply the code and it doesn't work does it let you back out of the sale?

    • +6

I think if you commit to buy then want to cancel you will need to contact the vendor, the best way is to add the item to the cart, attempt to pay and if unsuccessful remove it from your cart.

  • Kogan Macbook Air… would this apply?

    • +1

      try it?

    • +1

      And let us know ;)

    • +1

Kogan only has 2014 models. Futu online has 2015 11" and 13" Air, but the current discount is not as good as it was one month ago.

  • Where is the $50 voucher on eBay? Cant find it on my accounts

    • +3

it took me a while to find as well., If you're active on ebay it is very easy to miss.

On your main eBay sum, mary page, scroll all the way down to the bottom past bidding, best offers, unpaid items etc.

In any event, when you go to buy something it will remind you that you have a voucher.

  • +2

Anyone getting this message when applying the code? Or is it because I'm not eligible for the VIP preview period?

We're currently having technical difficulties processing your code
Your voucher or redemption code wasn't applied

  • +5

    How to be a VIP?

    • that is a good question. we've a few user ids and none of them got an vip invite.

    • I got an invite, I think it's either for people who buy a huge amount (I have a problem!), or people who sell a lot (which I also do).

Otherwise it could just be random

  • Excellent !
Was going to use the 10% Masters newsletter signup for my order.
It can pay to procrastinate sometimes.

  • -5

    any bargains?

  • +1

    Looks targeted

*Max discount $300. Selected retailers only. 1 transaction per person. The voucher is just for you and cannot be shared. Ends 9.59am (AEST) 25 August 15. Item cost only; excludes postage. See full T&Cs.

    • The voucher, given to you, after the purchase is targeted.

    • Yep, doesn't work for me.

      • i'm not logged in. Did a full cache and cookies purge.

The code is on the front page of ebay…. not sure how they would target this…

        • When you add it at checkout (cart) it says it won't apply it. That's how.

I can see the code advertised on the deal link - doesn't mean it works. If I just go to ebay home page it advertises a father's day sale (which is not the 20% code).

There are also quite a few others who it doesn't work for (see comments).

        • @Evil-Elmo:

          Strange ~ maybe its GeoLinked?

        • +1

          @Evil-Elmo:

It starts tomorrow! VIP members today

        • I'm guessing it must be linked to your ebay account i.e. the mysterious VIP list of ebay accounts.

No idea how to get on the VIP list…

  • -4

"We're currently having technical difficulties processing your code
Your voucher or redemption code wasn't applied"

Not working.. How to become VIP to buy today?

  • +15

meh. have been watching some PC components on Kogan. They've jacked up their prices for the sale by about 20%

    • +1

I often watch Kogan's prices on their website for items that I'm interested in. Regardless of a sale or not, their prices always fluctuate.

      • +2

Kogan are dodgy though it is obviously because of the ebay sale. I haven't seen Target do it

    • Shouldn't that sort of behaviour be reported?

    • +1

I'm looking at a Skylake i5-6600K which is $394.13, so $315.30 after 20% off at Kogan ebay and even less if including cashrewards. Currently $359 at MSY.

Gigabyte Z170XP-SLI motherboard is only $10 less than MSY however, barely worth the hassle…

    • +3

Seagate 8tb HDD was ~$339 yesterday, ~$400 today. Why bother.

      • +1

To be able to buy it for $320?

        ($308 at futu)

  • +7

no surprise, they raised the price before deal begin.
I was after a cultivator, $229 before and now price go up to $299. after 20% off, that's $10 more.

    What a shame.

    • +6

just checked other stuffs in my shopping cart.

      $199 -> $259
      $479 ->$659

      • +2

The seller revised one or more of the listings in your cart. Please review the updated listings before proceeding.

Open your eyes! LOL, you're the person looking at buying utter rubbish from AGR Machinery/Edisons/whatever name they use next week!

They sell rubbish that doesn't last, that you can't get parts for, that perform poorly and are good for nothing but landfill along with their so called warranty that they make impossible to claim on.

For that equipment I don't know but I definitely would never purchase from AGR Machinery/Edisons/whatever.

  • Can someone make a massive all stores search link like the ones from that last sale late June.

    • +9

If you click on the link provided above, you can actually just 'search the sale'.

      • +2

just note the 'search the sale' box does not show on mobiles or on the mobile page
