As long as you loaded up eBay through cash rewards at the time of purchase.

        • good to know..cheers!

        • +6

@Droid11: Andrew from Cashrewards here, yes thats right as long as you click through from eBay at the time of purchase, also make sure you disable any adblocker type software prior.

Btw answering some other member queries the 2.5% cashback is off the price before discount so ends up being more than 2.5% on price paid

  • What is the cheapest price for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, 16Gb, Wifi on this sale? I am looking to buy one as my nexus 7 has gone dead.

    Thanks

    • -5

I wish I could give you mine. Optus gave me one for free for signing up to a 24 month internet contract, but it just sits in a cupboard. I am not a huge fan of tablets, because of their size.

      • You can always post it to me. :P

        If it's the Samsung.

        • -2

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4" 16GB Wifi+4G. It's over a year old and used, so I will probably keep it. I wish I sold it last year. I could have bought a laptop for that money.

      • +4

Did the cupboard lock itself and throw away the key?

        • -2

My Asus Zenfone 2 does pretty much everything a tablet can do, so I have no use for it. My fault for not selling it.

        • +3

          @tendollar:

I'm confused, why say you wish you could give it away to another fellow Ozbargainer then say you'll keep it lol

        • -5

          @ezza:

          I lied

  • This price hike thing these stores do… If they're going to jack up a price, when do they usually do it? What I mean to say is, if the price hasn't gone up yet are they unlikely to - or - do they wait right up until minutes before the sale starts?

  • One transaction eligible during the period. Is that one per voucher?
Once with the vip, once with the normal?

    • +6

Discount is available for one transaction for VIP offer, or for up to 3 transactions for General offer.

Terms & Conditions for General offer:

Could someone please make one of those multi-store search links? I know it was done in previous deals so you could just search the relevant stores from one link, but I don't know how to make it :/

    • oh dear

Here you are, CVIPTREAT specific eBay search

Thanks to mr kindface for the above query.

      • it will be good if i can view 1000 items per page, while sitting in front of the pc talking to client thru phone.

      • Ah, I didn't realise it already had been posted, thanks! Maybe this could be added to the post? I'll report it and maybe one of the mods can :)

        • You mean add the content of the thread - to the thread… LOL.

        • @realfamilyman: Just to clarify, the post is the bit RyanMK wrote up top and the comments are the stuff down the bottom. I was suggesting adding this content to the post up top for visibility.

  • +1

    Kogan price is laughable.

  • Is it better to buy the Home appliances from Good guys or Masters Online with this ebay 20% off deal or go to instore and negotiate for the price?

    • +2

You mostly won't get 20% off the list price of large appliances if you negotiate in store.

    • +1

I guess you could try both. I doubt I'd get 20% off the appliances I'm after but…probably closer to 10% based on my past efforts.

  • If only one of the retailers could drag the price of an 64gb Iphone 6 to the point that iiNet are offering. Would be decent buy with code.

  • Why no book stores? :-(

    • +2

      What is a book?

      • +2

It's what Kindle, Kobo and other eBook readers were before technology came along.

        • Yeah. But many books are not available in electronic format.

        • @congngo: :P I was just joining on the joke. I personally like physical books more for many reasons as well (though it might become a thing of the past for many people).

I was thinking of getting a set of Bluetooth earbuds and Dicksmith had a set of Yurbuds for $99 on their eBay site yesterday.
    Back up to $135 today.
Clearly Dicksmith reviews all items prior to the 20% off deals.

    • +3

Dick Smith are scum. Standard practice for them.

      • +3

I don't think they're the only scum, but majority of the store jack up their price…protest by not buying anything.

    • +4

Catalogue ended yesterday, new catalogue prices start today. Hence the price change.

    • I don't have a pair but you could try the Matone QCY8 - good reviews on Amazon and about US$25. May be available on eBay too.

    • Are Yurbuds any good?
      I can see http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Yurbuds-Limited-Edition-Bluetooth…

But they come to $108, was the $99 with cashrewards?
Or did they jack up the price?

      • +1

It was $99 yesterday before any discounts.

        • Thanks to the above comments, bugger.

    • +1

try and flash it with dd-wrt. My tplink was dying and now it is stable as.

  • I don't get why the stores mark up the prices, doesn't the 20% come from eBay, not the store? :(

    • Yes. But mark up the prices and the store gets more!

      • People, lets complaint to eBay about store jacking up the prices that take advantage of this 20% off promotion.

    • GoodGuys doesn't mark up….yet…so far they are good.

      • In fact, they just dropped the price of a camera by $50! Haha great way to build loyal customers. :)

      • +2

They raised the prices on two of the TVs I was after. Might be good in some areas, but not in all… :(

  • Perfect timing thanks OP! Wanting to upgrade my monitor and graphics card for a while.

  • +6

Its a scam in a broad day light, I added some items from Masters y'day, and today found prices have been increased by > 20%.
Bunning is cheaper for the same items.
Research and compare before pressing Buy-Now

    • Can I ask which items? Most of what I have added to my cart matches their website dollar for dollar.

      • Same here. I only buying a light globe though. However, I can't get the code to work.

        • Ah worked now, I had to exit the checkout and return via the cart.

  • +2

Very disappointed in TGG. Both TVs I was looking at went up about $200 in price. Sigh…

    • The camera I was looking at went down $100 from TGG!

  • CTREAT20 is working for me now at Bing Lee. And I am a non VIP.

  • Can anyone confirm if you purchase something from the good guys and pay via paypal and need to return the item for a refund if they refund to PayPal or creditcard?

  • +6

OMG there's seriously nothing to buy

    • +1

Canon 70D from TGG is good deal. $861.73 after discounts and cash backs.

  • +2

Good tablet. If I had bank I would get that in a heartbeat. Currently using a lg g pad 8.3 which is quite excellent though.

      • +1

A nice tablet, excellent I must say. But sold mine awhile ago, because it's slow due to the CPU limitation, very noticeable.

        • Flashing a community made cm12.1 ROM fixed that for me I think. What did you get to replace it if anything?
