  • heading across in feb, would this still work by then?

    • It should. Though it should be noted the plans slightly change every few months so thats a small risk ordering well in advance.

      Though it rarely changes much.

  • How long to post to Melbourne?

    • Usually within 1-3 business days.

  • Thank you! I just picked one up.

    • Very welcome! :)

  • Perfect timing. Thanks!!

  • Will be going in Oct, just grabbed one up.. Thanks for the deal..

  • Thanks TDS, just grabbed one for my partner and I :)

Once the credit expires after 30 days can we change to any plan? we will be in Canada a little during our second month and see that some T mobile plans let you use data there too.

    • You can, though you will have to via the site or contacting them directly.

  • looks like you need a phone with but 1700 & 2100 frequencies. none of my phone have this. T-Mobile coverage is also not great outside the main centres.

  • I used one of these last month (from a previous $25 deal on Ozbargain). Worked really well and so much better than trying to find wifi all over the place.

I'm back to the US in Oct so grabbed one for the next trip. It's cheaper than recharging my current SIM.

  • Can tethering be used with this sim card? Edit: Just read the site and realised you can. Are there any instructions on what we need to do with the sim card in terms of activation?

  • Will it work with Australian stock LG G3 and iphone 5s?

    • Yes does 99/100. The other 1 usually just needs slight setting adjustments.

  • Does it cover Canada? T-Mobile says they do?

    • Oh no!! I just bought 2 sims, but made a mistake on the second one.. I chose the wrong activation date :(
Is it possible to change this??

      • +1

Of course if is! Just email us with detsiks of the transaction and the actual date you want :)

  • Any upcoming deals on the 13gb? Need a couple for an October/November trip (in addition to this one which I just bought as well).

    • No one in specific at the moment, sorry!

For anyone sceptical on this deal, and travelsimsdirect, I have just returned from 3 weeks in the U.S. And had bought this T-Mobile deal. The sim worked flawlessly and was ready to go on arrival. A few dropout spots heading out of California, but expected that. I was using an Aus stock iPhone 5, and 6, with no issues.
I wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future, or recommend them.

Hi mate, just doubled checked all emails and couldnt find anything. Can I ask which email you sent to? Feel free to PM here to avoid any lost email or tech glitches.

Thanks, I can't seem to send a private msg via OzBargain while in the US. I have just tried to send a Contact Us via the website hope this works. My email address is thanh.ha at gmail if that helps as well.

Emails were originally sent to: [email protected] and then [email protected] while I realised them email has changed on the support page.

        Thanks again,
        Thanh

      • Hi Rep,

        any updates about this situation?

please get contact with me asap

        • Check inbox mate!

  • Hi rep, what are the chances of a similar deal popping up in the next week or so? I'll need to buy a decent US SIM shortly, and this one ticked all of my boxes (just a bit slow to the party!).

    • Honestly, it is very unlikely. Sorry!
