Like the Jetstar beats option , its interesting now that Tiger is up and running, how Jetstar is now the preferred airline, especially after all the Tiger mauling that passengers have got.

      Good quote…"Tiger mauling" :)

    • haha good one mate!

    • To do the price beat you have to call Jetstar and phone bookings cost $15 extra, so I think it will end up costing more.

I personally think Tiger and Jetstar are roughly equal (I've had about 20 flights on each). If everything goes smoothly, then both are fine. But they both often reschedule flights and are both terrible when things do go wrong. And trying to get a refund out of either is like getting blood from a stone.

  • I have to admit I haven't had any bad experiences with Tiger, despite everyone else apparently being mauled !

Baggage seems to take a while to appear, but thats probably because they have fewer ground crew, a small wait due to a large saving in price doesn't bother me too much.

  • any one read about tiger ipo? it seems the current owner ready to sell their ownership from this company, cost them too much to keep this tiger flying.
