For those of you who do not know about Qualcomm's Quick Charge technology… tests have shown that a 3300mAh battery can be charged from 0% to 60% in only 30 minutes! The Quick Charge port is also backwards compatiable with any devices that do not support the technology and the remaining ports are VoltIQ USB ports that are able to detect the charging protocol used in your device to provide the fastest possible charge without the risk of overcharging and short circuiting etc. More information on the Quick Charge technology can be found here

Some of the Quick Charge 2.0 Compatible models include:

  • Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Samsung GALAXY Note Edge
  • LG G4, LG G Flex2

  • Just after I got my 2port tronsmart qc2.0 :'(

  • Seems like the 4 VoltIQ (there's a typo in one of the marketing images XD) can draw up to 2.4A each, but only 3 ports can draw the maximum 2.4A at the same time (up to 7.2A total). A bit disappointing since Anker has released some chargers that can deliver the advertised max power to all ports under full load (esp the 40W version).

In the most extreme situation, you will experience slower charge times if you plug 4 iPads into it. Though for my uses, it's a non-issue since my devcies' total power draw will be less than that, even with all 4 ports used.

And that's discounting the QC port…

This thing sounds like a monster on paper. Ty rep, ordered one with extra cables.

    Edit:

Paying $43.43 AUD via Paypal. 1:0.66 AUD hurts, but this deal still comes in cheaper than similar options I've checked on eBay and Amazon (that ship to Aus).

  • Can it charge my zenfone 2 when doing navigation?

Normal charger can only slow down the discharge

    • As it charges much faster it will be able to keep it charging while using navigation rather than losing charge.

      • Thanks will it works with GPS device?

        • If the GPS can be charged with USB (like a phone wall charger) then yes.

  • Could combine the 54W 5 port charger with this battery https://www.catchoftheday.com.au/event/our-top-electronic-de…

  • dammit, 3ft cable is the least useful length (for me)! (personally, 4x6ft and 2x1ft would be the best for me)

possible to bundle with one of the other cable options? (3x6ft), (3x3ft, 3x6ft) OR (2x1ft, 2x3ft, 2x6ft)?

    • +1

I'll ask and get back to you.

    • I agree. But I have already bought the 54W charger and 3 short cables :(

      • There will always be a next time ;)

        • I might get the 6x long cables with the 4 port car charger or even get another 54W charger, depending on the long cable deal.

TNT fast shipping for extra $1 is also a good motivation.

        • @fatice: TNT was free for me, shipping to VIC Melbourne. And it was shipped yesterday.

  • Thanks. Bought the 5 port charger with TNT shipping for just 11 cents extra (3-5 days vs 15-30 days by registered post). Glitch?

    • Probably not, but they'll email you if it's a mistake.

      • I purchased the 5 port charger and cables with TNT shipping 2 days ago. No shipping/tracking is provided. Is that still 3 to 5 days delivery ? or it is 3 to 5 days after the product has been shipped ?

        • 3 to 5 days after it has been shipped.

        • @Clear:

It is worst than 15 to 30 days delivered for the slow method as it still has a limit.

It has been 2 days since I bought the product and it is still in "processing" state. There is no time limit on when the product will be shipped. It could take 30 days for the product to be shipped, and take another 3 to 5 days to be delivered. That means the extra we paid is not really make the delivery faster. That is ridiculous.

        • @fatice: The average processing time is to 1 - 3 days. The only way it's going to take longer is if it's out of stock… which it isn't.

The delivery time is still 3 - 5 days, but that does not include processing time. This is the case with every other store here on Ozb.

        • @Clear:

I eager to get them so that my friend can test them to decide if he also want to buy. Hope I can get them by the end of next week.

        • @fatice: TNT China and Geekbuying operate on weekends, so it'll definitely be next week.

Mine arrived today :) best 11c ever spent (or AUD15cents in you're nitpicking)

          @Clear:

          I got mine today. Thanks.

Good idea. Just bought the 5 port charger with 3 cable with TNT shipping. Nice deal.

But AU to USD exchange rate from Paypal is now 0.67 (T.T)

  • Hey
I couldn't get the deal I am interested in the car charger and the 5 port desktop charger without the cables how much would that cost total and which coupon to be used
    Thanks

    • I'll find out for you.

  • The Tronsmart QC2 54W 5-Port Charger comes with a proper AU wall plug? or just a travel converter?

    • Proper AU plug.

  • Finally, I can get the 54W charger. May I know is there s 54W charger + 6 cables ?

  • Silly question, do u need that usb for the quick charge to work or can u use any cable?

    • +1

cheap cable will limit the charging current, which degrade the performance of the charger. If you are getting an expensive charger, might as well get good cables with it. Note: most of the original cables are high quality cables that works great with this charger, such as Apple, Samsung, LG …

  • I will pay in USA currency because of better rate with my 28 Degree card but of course ship to Australia. The system know it will send out a AU plug right?

    • pretty sure the listing title says "AU plug"

    • The product says it comes with an AU plug. Anything else gets an adapter based on shipping country.

      • Thanks. Already placed an order with TNT, Hope i get it quick

        • TNT usually takes 3 days to ship from Shenzhen/Hong Kong to Aus and factoring in processing/packing… 4 or 5 days probably.

  • The above codes works with the long cable deal http://www.geekbuying.com/item/Tronsmart-USB-2-0-Male-to-Mic….
"OZ4portcable" -USD 9..99 when purchase with Tronsmart QC2 4-Port Car Charger.
    "OZ5portcable" -USD 7.99 when purchase with Tronsmart QC2 54W 5-Port Charger.

Hi Clear, I'm interested in the car charger and wall charger. Is there a way to get the discounts in a single transaction?

    Thanks!

    • I'm also interested in this deal plus 3x3ft & 3x6ft micro USB cables.

    • I've sent a message to GB and I'll let you know once I hear back.

      • I'm interested in
        - Tronsmart QC2 54W 5-Port Charger
        - 1 feet ×3 cable
        - and 3 feet ×3 cable
Combo deal of all the above will be amazing…

Thanks in advance, capsized jv :)

        • Geekbuying aren't keen on doing deals on them anymore as they're not selling. I've been given a coupon on a cable pack though.
