          Nevertheless, I can tell you with confidence that most waterproof (water resistant is what most common fashion watches are, waterproof is a higher rating) time keepers (I specialised in analogue time keeping) won't keep steam out.

      I agree.. I had one stuck to my computer monitor frame. Suction failed after a couple of days and went downhill from there. Eventually it fell off after a few minutes. Tried it on different surfaces with no luck. :(
      Just ended up sitting on my desk upright. Battery lasted a long time though!

    There is a opaque bit with a transparent bit sticking out.. And the transparent bit isnt mirrored.
    So why wouldn't you just get a small clock the size of the opaque bit?
