  • just waiting for my refurbished dell inspiron 13 7000 series 2in1 (special edition) with core i7, 8gb ram, 256ssd, fhd, not as good looking as this spectre but got it for $879 from dell, hopefully it's good

    • Oh good. I have been meaning to buy this computer but my current Inspiron 15R (poor trackpad and wifi) and XPS 8700 (multiple motherboard failures in the first year, currently a buzzing sound from the tower) have left a bad taste in my mouth. Please let me know how you go with refurbished as I hate buying a new pc and having it repaired with refurbished parts. Might as well buy refurbished to begin with as it's the same warranty.

    • I bought a refurbished inspiron 11 3000 2in1 laptop for $4xx couple of months back and it was the worst laptop I've ever had. Terrible build quality, very sluggish after a while, horrible touchpad and it stopped working after my first overseas trip. Send for a repair under warranty, came back after 2 weeks or so but I was wondering what did the service guys do, as the exact same problem was there (freezing when loading windows). If they tried to boot the machine they would have known it's still not working, seems like they hadn't even cared to do that!

It's overall a horrible little laptop. Would NOT recommend it for someone else.

Guess 13 7000 won't be a much difference. If I was you, I would return it and go for a different model.

      • yikes! i'll still give it a go though and see, now i'm a bit worried :(

        • yes that's good. But don't let it pass 21 days to take a decision. good luck! :)
