    Too many t&c's - what's the point

Agreed. The usual rise in prices right before promotion too. Stop giving Dick Smith free advertising.

    • My brain hurts…

Getting sick of these deals, where they jack up the prices then offer a pathetic discount.
Been looking at the Pebble Watches. Yesterday the Pebble Black was $108, now $149, Pebble Steel was $204, now $289.
It seems like a bait to click scam that is getting very annoying and DS needs to stop this type of scam and spam marketing.

Please ban these generic Dick deals. Sick of seeing these everyday when there are no actual deals and everything is excluded. They also sneakily increase the prices.

Why don't you just hide DSE deals if you're sick of seeing these?
I'm not saying we shouldn't do anything about DSE coupons but jeez, the negs are harsh :|
Perhaps post on Site discussion for a suggestion?
IMO I think we should have a separate section on OzB for members to check for those "always on sale" type of stores, that have "active coupons" for the store, since DSE seems to have the same type over and over. However users can select to still submit separate posts that are worthy.
Also, the DSE once every 3-4 weeks 15%/16% off are pretty good.

      • will exclude everything except ds brand batteries or case for iphone 4 or 3GS.

      • It's a lot easier to press the beg button, than the hide button, plus DS are really gonna feelt wrath even though they didn't post it!!!!

  • Hopeless Dicky as usual, not only useless sales, but always stuffing up orders.

  • even $100 off on 1000 is nothing, dick smith = DJ , just get 10% off DJ giftcards and buy off DJ website…

  • Ok guys I heard that I have requested mods to delete this deal.

  • Any bargains?

  • bought a Seagate 1TB backup plus portable for $79, thanks OP and keep it coming please!

  • always exclude everything except ds brand batteries or case for iphone 4 or 3GS.

  • I got $60 off a $499 Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 yesterday.
Then I had OfficeWorks beat it down to $417 :)

  • 8:02 received email, want to buy $700 mobile phone (not listed on T&C), try code in check out on 8:20am, already not valid :(

  • Dick Smith - hopeless. Earlier this year I made two online orders which I eventually had to cancel as they were not able to fill the orders - despite having accepted my payment. So last week I thought I would try again being taken in by their "MASSIVE45" etc "sales". Paid my money, order was accepted but so confirmation of it being shipped. Called DS and was told my order is "awaiting fulfillment" and I will be notified by email when it's dispatched. They were unable to say when that may be.

Does DS accept payments for orders which they can't fulfill in an effort to maintain their cash flow or am I just being too cynical?
