    As usual… Be prepared for long wait times.
    I had pre-ordered the phone last month. The payment got taken out last week and the status is now stuck at Processing. Surprisingly the Android TV Boxes (M8S+) I ordered on Monday have been dispatched.

    Yeah I bought a phone from them. They took a week to ask for more money because what they initially charged wasn't enough to cover express. Wouldn't pay the $20 for additional shipping charges so the phone took 5 weeks to arrive. Shady and slow. No thanks :)

    That comes after more than 2 weeks of waiting. Asked for refund through live chat because customer service don't reply within 3/4 days. Chat conversation:
    "Angelia: I have cancelled your order and we will refund you in 3-7 working days ,please kindly check your account recently.
    yasir: thanks a lot
    Angelia: I have to have a meeting now,please kindly contact us 10 minutes later ,thanks". I was waiting few hours to get someone to chat with me.
    Never from you guys again unless you change something about your service.

    Mine just arrived today, not from Gearbest, but considering I got temporarliy banned for supposedly sockpuppeting the site I got it from a couple of months ago, I won't mention names. Received in about 5 days after order.

    CPU is fast on this, but the Helio X10 GPU is slow.
    MT6752 SOC is much better overall

    I purchased the white prime version using the promo code listed in this post on Friday Sept 18, 10 pm (AEST). It was listed as shipped within 3 hours (from Shenzhen, China) and was delivered (to Melbourne CBD) on Thursday October 1, 10 am. I took the Free Shipping option. Gear Best has never let me down in any way in three recent purchases. FYI the package goes via a shipping agent in Hillsdale, NSW who re-channels it through Australia Post. My unit was produced on Sept 14 in the Beijing area, then shipped to the other end of the country. The phone is great but the frustration will be waiting to download MIUI 7. I have a super-fast cable connection but the 776 mb download has timed out no less than 30 times almost certainly due to the extreme traffic from the millions who have purchased this brilliant phone. Xiaomi's servers should get back to normal after the Mid-Autumn Festival break ends on October 7.
