    We the special was pretty crap then. Only lasted for 5 minutes and hardly anyone got a chance to get into it. It should say that its only for first 10 or so people.

        fair enough. I reckon it should say the following instead:
        "1 Free Phone Card and Recharge Voucher Given out to our first 10 customers."
        You must agree though that Ozbargain is meant to be more about good bargains and deals for 'everyone' rather than a pure marketing medium by the retailer. Still deserves a negative in my mind.

            @chalia: Chalia - probably dont bother posting these deals until.

            1. You understand what you are saying and communicating.
            2. Clearly spell out the deal - Hey 10 Free cards - of what value? what limits? 1 call free per card ? 10 minutes of calling? $5 value each???? How long is a piece of string? Really this is a nothing deal. Its surprising how many positive votes you got? Probably at best equal to the number of cards you gave away.

            You now hold the record for the highest number of negative votes within a 8 hour period (or close to that). People here have spoken, and Thats after I revoked 2 negative votes for not following the rules - but the sentiment is there.

            Putting a total of $5 worth of freebies - if that to get free adveritsing really doesn't cut it.

            Have put you in penalty box for 1 week and play this silly game again you'll be banned. Give something back to this community if you want to play here otherwise take out $5000 ads on the back of a bus to get business

            In the online community you would be called a LEECH.

              @[Deactivated]: Ozpete, I may not be able to turn your idea around. But this deal includs several phone cards and one mobile recharge card. And all of them are $10 cards. It is not $2 free card or $5 free card for 1 call only. From my point of view, it is a bargain.

                @chalia: Very simple - explain like you have now clearly what the offer is, what the limits are and how long it will last.

                Remember if its a cheap and very limited promo, expect flack from those who miss out.

                First test is, if you were to take the deal, and then if you could normally get the deal would you rush to get it and be happy with it.

                There are a lot of people here, as I write this there are 1000+ online.

                If you went to a shopping mall with 10 cards to give away, you wouldn't get much response as they would go instantly and you'd have nothing else to offer or do except check out the chicks.

                If have a planned deal you can always check with the mods via the ask a mod thread and we'll give you an opinion. But if you want to play in the big time you need a big deal

                At least you have a week to put together the next one.

          I think M27 was +1 the comment of scozbargain, since it is a reply to it.

          Doesn't he entitle for the same negative vote? I know it is specified in the guidelines as "+1" is unacceptable reason, but IMHO I understand why he voted negative for this thread.

            IMHO you should understand why it was deleted

            If someone cans a deal they should at least give us the courtesy of some reason that helps us. +1 doesnt do any more to enlighten us that another person agrees . If they are plus one, then a simple vote on the other persons comment would suffice.

            And really its just laziness.(or lack of understanding in this case). We forced people to make a comment so they understand the power of the negative vote and they need to explain why they do this. Not stopping them from doing it just asking them to explain it.

            So many would just press the negative button, put a full stop etc. Is it TOO hard to say I am voting negative because its…. See my comment to the vendor, hey after that they are looking at better deals to offer us here. And that was made after M27 and all the other negative votes.

            The alternative was to take away the negative vote. We did this on newbies so that hopefully they would use it wisely after being here for a month.

            And while M27 wasnt the only one with a lazy comment, revoking all the offenders would have had a dramatic impact on the message the community was giving in this promo, but the others were "warned" M27 was at that time the last voter.

            And remember I also voted negative, so it wasn't to censor M27's wishes, it was to help every one understand how the vote is to be used. (notice the Plus 4 votes against my comments to Chalia - and a lot of the points I made include summaries of other views here)

        NOT revoked as have already revoked M27's vote.

        We have comments required so that people can understand why and it becomes informative - the above is lazy and doesnt help.

        However as M27's & Kego's are revoked, revoking your two comments would probably skew acceptance of this deal so thats why they stand unrevoked, but please in the future read the rules and play the game, they are there to benefit everyone

        Have a look at my negative vote comments to Chalia, and he responds and its positive for all, compared to his response to yours below
