    RX100 is easily worth the extra money. But this is a really really good price for a G series camera.

  You can get the original RX100 under $400 and even cheaper if you can combine with ebay offers.

  A 2 year old Canon consumer camera is as good as junk…. or should I say it was junk to start off :P

    Absolutely not. The RX100 is a fantastic camera, any model is great. the original RX100 would be priced the same if not less and perform better.

    Not a bad camera at all. Have taken some very nice photos with it. End up using it quite often over my DLSR just because it's so much easier to handle and carry around.

    Unfortunately no wifi remote capabilities.
