Pebble Smartwatch - Red $99 + Item Over $1 (to Get $50 Voucher) C&C @ Dick Smith eBay

450

For those that missed the previous deal, although now it's $20 more expensive, you can get a free $50 voucher, making what I believe is a better deal.

Since it's $99 if you are Clicking and Collecting, you will need to add an item worth $1 or greater to obtain the voucher.

Original eBay $50 Voucher Deal.

That's tempting. Better than the $79 deals directly from DSE that pop up from time to time.

I really want the Pebble Time though!

    • Ditto, any idea if it's going to be released in retail stores?

      • I have no idea. It's been a while since release though. I want dse to stock them so I can get one at a reasonable price with their weekly coupons.

      • my kickstarter pebble time steel is somewhere in australia being couriered and then there are online orders I wouldn't see ithappening for a couple of months

I got my Pebble Time Steel on Thursday. So far it's awesome, can't recommend it enough. Looks nicer than I expected.

  • In this day and age, we seem to be spoilt for choice with watches.

Ah I remember shopping for sundials…

    Are these good for skimming

    • For what?

      • -1

You know, like skimming cards at the atm machine.

    • Slightly better than an Orange Panasonic LUMIX

  • Is there some sort of minimum spend condition on the $50 voucher?

    • +2

$100, hence why OP added "+ $1 item"

      • No I meant the $50 voucher itself, are there any strings attached besides an expiration date?

        • +2

I think people have mentioned that you cannot split it (i.e. if what you are using it for is less than $50, you still lose the voucher), at least for the voucher from last similar deal.

I still remember the fascination with my new Casio watch having stopwatch and how I timed myself doing things…..

I bought it when it was $79. I had this weird problem that whenever I took the pebble out of range of phone, it never reconnects, unless I restart the phone and watch. Very annoying. Did anyone else had this problem ?

    • +1

Yep, however thought it was only me as I was on the iOS 9 Beta.

My phone is android. Everyday I had to restart the phone and pebble 3-4 times to make it work. I returned my pebble yesterday, just because of this problem.

        • All I did was disconnect the bluetooth from the Pebble, forget the Pebble from my iPhone then reconnected it, without using the Pebble app.

    • I bought mine at the same time as well, and haven't faced any issues with reconnecting automatically

    • I also had this problem.

This seems to have solved the issue, a little taxing on battery life but I'd much rather have a smartwatch that works than a little more battery life.

  • No idea why the black version is $40 more

    • 215 red ones in stock, but only 38 black ones?

      • +23

Red one's are faster, hence don't keep accurate time

The $50 voucher can only be obtained by purchasing off a single seller.

      • +1

        I stand corrected

b.make a purchase of $100 or more (item costs only, postage not included) at a Participating Store in one transaction

        • Idk, you probably are right. The T&Cs are very convoluted, so I wouldn't risk the $1 part.

      • @lyl : Wrong

Love my Pebble, and this is a bargain for the price. The legacy watches are supposed to get a substantial software update before the end of the year too, so still worth picking one up. Though I have to admit, the new Moto 360 is looking mighty nice…

  • feel like getting one, but on a saving mode. :/

    • +1

      come on…one more bargain doesn't hurt…

      • +1

and that's how I never saved xD

  • Now showing price of $134.10
