There are reviews in the link :)

I don't like paying for a game and then being seduced by in-app purchases just to finish a game. I boycott such nonsense. Call me old fashioned.

        • +5

You don't need to make any in-app purchases to complete a game. There are there for different weapons which you can purchase, which can be unlocked by playing the game and gaining levels.

I bought the game when it got released and I'm still playing it, clearing a level or two every night. I don't think I've ever had a game crash on me or had my progress reset so far, so I'm not sure what the other reviewers are doing. Am playing it on my Nexus 7, not that it should make any difference at all.

why is everyone neg-ing this comment?

        • Because they have nothing better to do

Here are the comments from some of the negative reviews:

"The gameplay is a blast, but not being able to save unless you log into Facebook is a total bullcrap."

"Recent update wiped out weapon upgrades! Unlocks on all weaponry were reset to the opening levels. Update was a big downgrade."

"Loved the game but must have more than one venue The game is great, but all every mission is in the same venue, with the exact same moment. They just ask you to kill some one else. I really think this should have 5 stars with more levels"

"Addicting Would Be 5 stars if it weren't for the push on in app purchases large investment play and refund to test if you like it"

"Game reset to chapter 1 ???? I already reach the chapter 6.. but when finished palying the mission, suddenly the game was reset to chapter 1.. all my progress mission was gone !!! I don't know what's happened but i really disapointed. This happened twice. Then i decide now to unistall this game !!!"

"Stay away until they fix the cloud sync issues Last update really screwed up the game and all guns purchased! Lost all progress as well as money spent in app for guns. Dev will NOT refund and giving BS excuses. I contacted Google and recommend you stay away from ALL games by this developer square-enix!! This is NOT how you treat customers!!! Horrible customers support, they do not read what you write and give BS answers!!! I'm extremist upset with them as I loved the game and almonds finished until the update broke everything!! Boycott this DEV"

"Fun, but buggy and slow Game crashes without warning, losing all the progress you made on a level. Starting or restarting a level is both slow. Moving between different menu screens are also slow. Game is also pretty battery intensive and warms up your phone quite a bit. Game is pretty expensive already at $5, yet it still has in-app purchases. There are 2 or 3 guns you can only acquire by using real money. I'd expect all items to be able to be unlocked via in-game accomplishments, rather than having to spend more real money."

"I did love it But now update does not allow any game play ill have delete it now and wipe all my game data… Thanks for the great update ruined my favorite game"

I suggest not to give any permission for any apps or games reading your Facebook details.

Fact that you can't save game without signing in is a big issue

      • I'm not logged in with FB and my progress is saved.

    • In-app purchases suggest pay to win :(

Should be mentioned in all listings, just like Play store shows.

20 cents, got it, prolly never play it lol

Based on the reviews, I will pass, even @$0.20

  • I actually enjoyed it a bit, mind you I've only played about 40 minutes worth. But from what I've experienced so far I'd say it isn't a bad game.

    • +5

Even if you never touch it again, I used to pay 20c for far less gameplay than that in the 80's.

  • +9

Better consider how I spend my hard earned 20 cents. Such a big investment into a game.

  • I never got round to finishing Hitman Absolution so I think I'll pass.

Different type of games, this is a mobile sniper game.

Was contemplating purchasing this using my Google Opinons credits at the $4.99 price. The inner OzBaraginer in me predicted that it will go down to a price like this, glad I waited it out.

  • +1

Google play store actually do refund within 2 hours of purchase for ozbarginers who doesn't like what they have paid :P

"After purchasing an app or game on Google Play, you can return it within two hours for a full refund.

If the return period has passed, you can contact the app developer directly. You can find an app developer's contact information listed on an app or game's detail page on Google Play. For instructions, go to help with an Android app or game

Keep in mind you can't return an app or game more than once."

  • Any other good deals going on android games atm? I got credit to burn…

I actually got a mini PS3 game free with my order of Abolution back in the day. It was called Hitman: Snipe Showdown or something like that. Apparently this is just an expanded version of that game.

That game, was actually really fun and served as a good demo to get me keen on more REAL Hitman action. With that in mind, if these two are similar products, then I'd believe this should have always been 20c or free really, especially not 5 bucks, because all this is going to do is make you want to go out and buy the real damn game.

Which is a good thing and all, but still, I (profanity) hate overpriced phone games.

    Such silly mindless violence.
Why not a game where everyone just hugs each other?

    • +1

      Like Leisure Suit Larry?

  • Apparently this game is not compatible with my Y550. Pass on it then.

  • Played for 20 minutes. Enjoyed. Got my 20 cents worth. Will play some more.

  • +3

Rarely play games on my android - have to say, surprised by how much I enjoyed it.
Yes, same scene used over and over again, but still quite addictive, it does mean you get to know the place very well…
This is currently the only game I'm keeping on my phone (except for kids stuff)
Dodgy at $5, but definitely worth 20c, thanks OP!

  • Yeh.. why not… $0.20..

  • +1

Cheaper than paying $1 for a go at Silent Scope arcade. Doubt the Hitman game would play seedy music then announce "Bonus Life!!" when your scope glances over nekkid women

  • How come when I press purchase, it shows up in USD, and costs $4.99? .__.
