  • Wish it was in my area.

  • Haha wish I hadn't moved to Melbourne! Quite a nice deal by the sounds of it

OMG! That's bloody awesome. I'm thinking of flying over to W.A just for it.

Makes up for some of the offers WA sometimes misses out on. Hope they have enough stock for the rush! :-)

    Burwood is in NSW!

    • +2

BurSwood is a casino in Perth, I believe.

However, as you mentioned, Burwood is in NSW, and I believe there is one in Vic too :)

  • Lol dammit I thought it was in 'Burwood' NSW or heck even VIC. Good Going WA, now I have an excuse to go =D

  • This is a really good deal. In Sydney you would be lucky to get the beer for that price let alone the rest of it!

  • Do you have to be 18 and over ???

    • I doubt it. Just ask for some OJ or a coke instead of the beer.

  • yeh crown some times has similar deals to entice gamblers into the casino. Rememeber the $2 fish n chips? I am not sure that the quality of the lobster would be all that good for that price. Most likely defrosted from Thailand.

    • Don't mention Crown on OzBargain.
The best bargain involving casino's is to stay away from them.

  • Wish it was in VIC! I'd be there!

    • That would be very nice

  • Wow, great deal. It seems that this is under cost. Might try this tonight :)

    • Way under cost! Please review it for us.

      • Well I went there last night. The queue was about 30m long for it. I had to stay in line for about 30 minutes for it. Well it looked good when i bought it (1 for me and 1 for wife). The lobster was a bit hard and chewy but the salad, chips and drink were ok (make sure you get a lot of the great sauce). Like Str1k34 said its not that big - I had to get 1 more. For some people 1 may be enough.

All in all I would recommend it as you get this voucher that you can get another drink with or get a $5 bet. So it really becomes a great deal.

As someone else said it may be there to get people in so that they can gamble. I ended up losing $100 on roulette :( Damn you Bursewood!!

Its actually a really small lobster, like a mouth full (from the tail meat). Had this last weekend.
Some small amount of fries and a leaf of lettuce (about that, very random size for salad).

You can have soft drink or wine (I think I recall being asked if I wanted wine, someone else will need to confirm this part)

Treat it as a $10 snack

@JV yes you have to be 18 its a licensed area I believe.
@Kitt it tastes fine, just small really small

This deal is in the emporium which is not in the casino so no I don't think you need to be 18. Also Burswood over ordered at Christmas time hence the special so they are really nice. (had on last night) also got a voucher for 5$ to use on gaming floor aswell

  • Oh yeah they also give you $5 credit for a table games bet.

  • Whoa $5 for gaming too, nice.

  • the lobster is really small . like literally . half your fist

  • +1

I thought it was Burwood in NSW..

    • Fat chance!

  • I have also had this and I agree that it is really small. It is about 3 or 4 small bites and it's gone. It is also served cold. Still to get a beer with it and a voucher for either a $5 gambling chip or a glass of wine or half a pint of beer from inside the Casino is still a good deal.

  • Cm'on Adelaide…

  • Good deal but the lobster wasnt satisfying at all (plain and small) the last time I was there.

    • +4

you're supposed to eat it, not sleep with it !!!

  • I live in Sydney, but a deal is a deal and this seems like a pretty good winner :)

Kranbone - What a crappy post. The deal aint in sidney its in perth - why do people have to keep mentioning it!!

      • +1

Stupid reply there robbo. Just stating I appreciate all deals regardless of location, hence the positive.

        • dont let him bother you, hes still upset there are no adult movies at Hoyts on his birthday.

  • I have to question the quality of this. I ate a similar deal in Sydney a couple of years back, it was $15 for lobster, chips and salad (no beer). I was so excited that i bought two only to be completely disappointed. It was fukn disgusting!

I hope you don't experience the same thing. It would be nice for someone who lives in that area to let us know how it tastes.

  • Nice way of fuelling a gambling habit.

Best lunch in a long time. True the lobster was small, but it was tasty as were the fries and the beer. And best of all the $5 gaming voucher. Took my fiancée there, spent $19.90 on food and drink for two, put both vouchers on black for a single spin and walked out with $20 cashback. All up they paid me 10 cents to eat a nice lunch. :-)

    • So there is such a thing as a free lunch. Nicely done.
