  • Claims open at 9:00am AEST on 23/09/2015 and close at 11:59pm AEDST on 03/11/2015 or when a maximum of $45,000 in refunds has been awarded, whichever is first to occur ("Claim Period").

  • To be eligible to claim a refund, individuals must purchase an Eligible Product (defined below) from a participating retailer during the Purchase Period ("Qualifying Purchase"). For the purposes of this promotion, a participating retailer will be any retailer displaying material advertising this offer during the Purchase Period.

  • "Eligible Products" are specially-marked Schick Hydro Silk Kit (RRP$14.25), specially-marked Schick Hydro Silk 4pk refills (RRP$19.25) and specially-marked Schick Hydro Silk Trimstyle Kit (RRP$21.99). Each Eligible Product will contain a promotional sticker featuring a unique code on the reverse ("Unique Code").

  • To claim a refund, individuals must then complete the following steps during the Claim Period:
    1) visit www.schickhydrosilkpromo.com.au and follow the prompts to the promotional claim page;
    2) input all of the requested details (including their full name, a valid email address, their residential address (and their mailing address, if different to their residential address), the full barcode number of the Eligible Product purchased, the purchase price, and the Unique Code);
    3) select their preferred method of receiving the refund (i.e. PayPal or cheque);
    4) upload a scanned copy of their purchase receipt to the claim form; and
    5) submit the fully completed claim form.

  • The refund offer is only available until 11:59pm AEDST on 03/11/2015 or until a maximum of $45,000 in refunds has been awarded, whichever is first to occur.

  • Only one (1) claim permitted per Eligible Product purchased. Only one (1) claim permitted per household and per e-mail address.

      Yes, they are for woman. But not sure if razors would know if you are man or a woman. I always wonder what makes a razor different.

        Women's razors are smaller i notice. So it's like they're ripped off as with most beauty products.

        One time i asked the guy that owns my hairdressing salon what the difference was between men and women's shampoo … turns out the only difference is they add more water to the women's product :p

    Will they provide a daily update on how close they are to reaching the $45k? Because it would be a shame to buy sommat for >$20 expecting cash-back, only to be told that your claim was rejected because they'd reached the $45k limit a day or two prior to receiving your claim.

      • Actually not… currently it's at 2461 clicks, and 2461 x $14 = $34454. But I take your point. I'd advise getting in early if you want to avail yourself of this deal.

    Same here nags/talks, wandering through Northland (VIC) I found no stock on the shelves at "The Shaver Shop", two different chemists, Coles, or Woolies. "Priceline" had the product I was after, but no sticker/mention of the cash-back (on any Schick product, incidentally); so no deal!

    It seems an odd tactic, generating 'hype'/commencing the date for accepting a limited number of claims for a promo before there's actually any eligible ('stickered') products on the shelves. It could potentially have the opposite effect to that which was intended, if peeps waste time looking for it to no avail, or if they buy the specifically named products that to date are 'unstickered', then have their claims rejected (or as is more typical; ignored).

    It will be interesting to see how this unfolds… If "Schick" knows what is good for them/their brand's PR, given that the promo supposedly officially commenced a few days ago they will get some stickered-product on the shelves ASAP, and will also provide a running (real[ish]-time) notification of how close they are to the $45k limit on their website. Otherwise, peeps will have no way of knowing whether or not they can buy the product with any reasonable expectation of actually being eligible for their 'cash back'.

    • The only people that are hyped are you and a handful of ozbargainers. It hasn't been advertised ANYWHERE. Not even the schick>womens>hydro>promotions page let alone facebook or TV. The stock is supposed to promote itself and it's not out yet so stop complaining.

  • Based on my past experiences with cash-back promos I would estimate that you would receive the cheque or paypal payment about 1 month after the end of the promo (not 1 month after you submit your claim).

    But that's just a guess based on prior experience. It could be a lot longer. It is unlikely to be much sooner.

    The quickest cash-back I've ever experienced has been AMEX statement credits. They're sometimes almost instantaneous! The longest is a bit over 3 months. The average is 1 month after the end of the claims period.

  • Update:
    I visited Chemist Warehouse, Priceline & Coles today. These 3 are •NOT• participating retailers in this promotion.
    (they don't have any promotional advertising material near the items). None of the staff had heard of the promotion.
    So, who is left? I will check Woolworths, & the independent chemists, Kmart, Big W.

    Found it at Chemist Warehouse, only the refills had the sticker on it tho.
    I also filled in the form, the confirmation email came minutes after.

    I now got an email saying they have sent the money to PayPal to process and I should have it within 28 days. Three family members/friends submitted at the same time as me and no email yet. I told them all to follow it up.
    PayPal credit should not take twenty eight days!

    • I got an email saying they couldn't read my receipt…hopefully they don't run out of funds I put mine in on the 26th and only just received that email!

  • I bought one yesterday for the missus from Coles yesterday and submitted the claim last night, got a confirmation email saying I'll hear back in 3 days. If its anything like the experience with the Mens range back many months ago, then it wont be 3 days, it will be many follow up emails followed by long periods of silence from Schicks support team. Finally I heard back from them a couple of weeks after I started following up with them about my claim, and then had the money appear in my account (cant remember if it was Paypal or bank account). Considering Im two weeks late into the cashback claim period, I'd be surprised if my claim gets approved.
