Its $11.46 AUD not 8 AUD … Still 8 USD

Your still better off making multiple orders for anything over $40 USD and 4lb and using the FREE Australia post option as it comes with FREE tracking and insurance.

They ship from their own warehouse in Australia apparently.

And even if you use the DHL option, they have a contract with australia post & fastway couriers to deliver from inside australia

SO its purely a marketing strategy

Recently ordered from iHerb using the free shipping. I ordered very late Thursday night (17/9) and the order arrived Wednesday (23/9). Less than a week.
iHerb have good prices for products you just don't get in Australia, especially if you're looking at supplements.

      Yep, these guys are great!
Missus just received an order of Atkins bars. Caramel Chocolate Nut Roll which you can't get here at the local supermarkets. Price per box was cheaper than the "On Special" price of the local ones, and thats delivered!

Correct in certain instances, however if you order heavy items that are not expensive - eg Bobs RedMill Hot Grain cereal, then it can work out cheaper this way rather than multiple orders. Plus you can get higher discount over the whole order. You just need to do the maths on your specific order.
