$2000 Return airfares to Los Angeles from Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.

Not as good a bargain as the standard economy, but nice if you want the extra room.

Part of today's Happy Hour sale, so thought I'd put it up for anyone who's looking to go to the USA soon. Sale ends 11:00pm.

Travel dates are: 7 Oct - 13 Dec 2015 & 27 Jan - 15 Mar 2016

Dont know if Economy premium is worth an extra ~800-1000 dollars..

    • I fly with them to LA on business in premium economy and it was definitely worth it IMO. Heaps more room, better food and drink and it was actually possible to get some sleep.

      • I find priority check in more important. Usually in a rush on those trips.

  • It would definitely make it more possible to do a one week trip to the states knowing you could get some sleep.

Uhh… Not very OzBargain to travel on any class other than Economy (the cheapest class).

What is a bargain my dear chap?

Is the cheapest you can get, why true

Is a good offer you just can refuse, sure

Is it needless spending because you want to fill your life with credit card debts pending?

All in all, oz bargin means all.

      • I don't think other OzBargainers agree with you.

Premium economy isn't worth it, unless comfort is your most important factor. Though I would of paid money to upgrade mid flight, the discomfort is worth the saving at the end of the flight IMO

  • Has VA upgraded the premium economy yet?

I'm 6'7, and have flown economy multiple times to and from the USA and get exit rows and sleep 7-8 hours. Maybe I'm just lucky i can sleep anywhere, but this seems crazy to be double the price. Having flown premium economy with different airlines on smaller trips in the USA, the extra is usually 20-5%, so this seems ridiculous! I can't see this being much cheaper than standard prices.
