Just received this from Click Frenzy. The small print is a tad confusing in relation to the reference to RRP for sale items, but when I tested it gave 20% off the sale price, not the RRP.

There are some reasonable discounts on their appliances, so it is probably worth having a look.

(I see you did mention this. :) )

  • Any bargains?

    • gotta agree with this notion when it comes to house.com.au
Lots of 'sales' but price seems just as high, nothing spectacular.

      • Just putting it out there for people to check.

        • No worries.

        • try2bhelpful and post a bargain or 2….I kid I kid

        • +2

@dunno: The 20% off is the discount. The title was reasonably long as it was. Sorry, but it is this sort of reply that puts people off putting entries up here. My time is valuable too, and I made an effort to put this up here. It takes a couple of seconds to look and decide if you want to take it further.

        • I didn't make the rules up, just trying to help you post a deal that might get some votes. I haven't been rude in any way, sorry if you think I was.

        • OP, I think people sorta expected you to post specific bargains because
stores like House and Peters of Kensington often have sales that are nothing to get excited about, either:

          • prices are still high

          • the stores announce "sales" far too frequently and have nothing superb to offer

In the end, its your call though.

        • @try2bhelpful: i thought it was pretty clear it was a joke in the context of what some were politely advising…it personally doesnt effect me whether u post a specific deal or not it only takes a few seconds opening, reading then closing a post if theres nothing of interest…take my comment as the joke it was intended to be, if it was offensive my apologies.

        • @dunno: Sorry, but it was a pretty vague joke. (Then again somebody got offended when I made the "gross" joke about 144 condoms so I can give you a pass on this :)) I just think it is not much point me looking at the site for things I find specifically a bargain when they may not be what other people want. If people are looking for something specific they can go to the link, do a search and then see if the price is what they want to pay. If it is too high then they may have wasted a couple of minutes, if it isn't they can buy it.

  • Wondering if this offer is available in-store?

    • You could ring them and ask, but I wouldn't think so with a coupon. However, you don't get what you don't ask for.

  • "There are some reasonable discounts on their appliances, so it is probably worth having a look." - Your title mentions that this coupon excludes appliances?

  • awww, shipping kills it for me.
    item: $59
    discount: $11.80
    shipping: $10
    total: $57.20

    pooo

    • FREESHIP I found this one looking around but I don't know if it is currently valid or if they allow you to stack coupons.

      • thanks but that code didnt work. :( ill just keep waiting for that special deal

    A KitchenAid Artisan KSM150 for $480 would've been epic.

    • -1

I agree, but at $599 with shipping free it is still worth a consideration.
