Just parked at the Crown multilevel and noticed a poster stating that if you show your ticket to the guys at the counter on the casino floor, you get a free gift.

Can either get $5 of pokies credit, or a deck of Crown playing cards.

I got the cards. They look like the actual casino used cards (they have a hole punched through the middle).

No need to be a member, no forms to fill out.

From memory, I think I read that the deal ends on 21 Oct, but will double check that when I return to the car later today.

edit: checked the poster again on my way out. Offer ends October 25th. It started 21st August, which means that I've missed out a few times already :(

  I got a few of these from Auckland SkyCity when they had a similar promo..really good quality to play at home with…arguably better than the pokies credit but it all depends on how lucky you're feeling ;) Thanks for the post though op, I'm looking at dropping by sometime next week and would be keen to get a pack.

    The hole is to void them from casino play. So you cant bring in your own deck and try and swap cards.

  They try so hard to have ppl keep gambling. Their earn rewards scheme on crown bet App is also such where you earn rewards on betting, which you can then redeem in casinos.

  I dont like the idea of promoting gambling, especially in subtle manners. I think more ppl get trapped into gambling addiction through these small promotions compared to TV Ads.

  I used to buy a deck or two of these whenever I went to the Burswood Casino in WA - apart from the whole drilled into the middle of the pack, they were of decent quality and were handy to have one or two of at home.

    I had to show them my ticket which they wrote down the barcode or some other number, and stamped the ticket. It was a very manual process (clipboard and a rubber stamp). Not sure how they'll do it if you are a member. Next time you are there, ask them if you can get the promo? :)

  Hmmm, I'm Gold signature so I usually park in the Basement car park each day but I might do a sneaky and park in the multi and get a ticket, then get the cards, then goto the Teak room to validate the ticket for free parking.
