  Unrelated to this deal being that it's a handset deal but I have been really unimpressed with boost after switching to them 2 weeks ago. I figured that given they are using the Telstra 3G infrastructure that coverage would be excellent but it has been really poor, especially in the Adelaide metro area with widespread 3G black spots.. I don't get it.

    did you compare coverage of boost sim to a telstra prepaid sim? Is it a telstra or boost problem?
    It is expected that at a certain location, vodafone or optus has better signal than telstra.

      Same thing really. Boost uses the Telstra 4G network should be the same coverage. Boost is Telstra's prepaid mobile phone service.

    Boost upgraded to Telstra 4G the other day so you should be getting 4G coverage unless you're using a 3G mobile phone.
