Wow, technology is so advanced and weldersigned these days. It can even do things like beat up any kind of material so hard and with such finesse, they weld into each other, using a combination of, say Wing Chun and Brazilian Jujitsu.

  • hmm, Im thinking of getting a welder to weld together my exhaust that snapped off. Would I be better with a MIG welder?

    • +1

For exhaust, yes, tho you may find that if it was weak enough to snap, you probably don't have enough foil^Wsteel to patch:-p The advantage of the stick is you can weld outside without losing your flux [the gas] and getting an aero-bar weld.
If it is stainless, then MIG. If you're running mild steel, Oxy may be better, especially if you haven't played with stick/MIG much. You'll have to drop the system first anyway [PLEASE!]
200 AMP at 30% duty cycle tho - if they are IEEE amps rather than Yum Cha amps that could be one nice bit of kit.

  • Not sure on this one, is it Australian approved? Can't see any labels and there is no sticker with input amps etc on it ..
