Porting away from Lebara mobile, any good sim deals?

I am wanting to port away from Lebara mobile, I have tried it for 30days and I do not like it. Is there any good deals on sim card plans? voda or optus or telstra? I've been looking but it seems the deals are expired.

Cheers

    • Any Telstra deals?

      • Boost is using telstra and recently Boost has access to telstra 4g network so that's even better.

I can't find any actual telstra starter packs or anything like that

        • I might give boost a try.
          Thanks

        • @simonizmaster: No worries i was on boost for years and only recently switched to amaysim as i now live in sydney where reception is fine for optus and cheaper with amaysim.

        • I believe that Boost is actually owned by Telstra and is their poverty brand cheap 'n' cheerful brand.

      • Aldi pay as you go 365 - that uses Telstra network.

        • doesn't use full telstra networks unlike boost mobile.
so for $5 more on boost you get more 3gb data and an extra 1gb every sunday to use that day only and telstra 4g which aldi does not have.

  • If you don't like Lebara then avoid Optus (if they're an Optus reseller).

    • I have Amaysim account as well, and they are a much better network than Lebara (My experience)
I might try the Aldi or Boost, this time.

      Cheers

      • Amaysim and Lebara are not 'networks' - as in the three (Telstra, Optus, Vodafone) Telcos, but just 'Virtual Networks' (MVNO's - Mobile Virtual Network Operators).

Amaysim runs on the Optus 4G, and 3G, Networks.

Your current Lebara SIM connects through the Vodafone 3G Network.

        • Ah cheers for clearing that up regarding which network Lebara offers - so the advice from me is avoid Vodafone rather than Optus basd on your experience with Lebara.

You can pick up the new Vodafone 1.5GB + definitely finite "infinity" unlimited talk and text for 28 days starter kits on eBay for $5 - $20. Possibly also Telstra starter SIMS with $30 credit preloaded for the same prices.

If you keep your eyes open you can pick up Telstra and Voda $30 Starters for anything from $1 to $15 from woolies/coles/costco/allphone etc. and buy more than one keeping in mind that some starter kits still have expiry dates (although that is changing as we speak and new starter kits from all vendors will be expiry free or so I'm told. New Vodas (1.5GB data) do not have an expiry.)

        • Yes, I think I might try the Aldi or Boost or telstra. Or even Amaysim as it is very well priced and the network service was pretty good.

          Thanks
