If you want cashback, you have to be on the plan for minimum 90 days before they pay you. In this case, i would recommend you use WECHAT
If you planning on just using amaysim for a month or 2, then use a referral.

Yes that's correct. But if you sign up with a referral link , you get a Bonus $10 credit to start off with that has a 90 days expiry.
Which means you can have 5GB for first month and use the $10 credit to buy another 1GB on your second month.
Unless a better deals comes up. In that case you can recycle the sim and sign up to the new offer.

Just realised only first month is $10, so if you get cash back next month will cost $15. So basically $25 for 2 months. I wonder if you still get cashback, through cash back rewards, if using the voucher, that would work even cheaper…. I'm assuming it would as its a code available on amaysim. I just went on the phone with Amaysim… they said that it doesn't come activated, but it will be automatically activated if it hasn't been activated within 6 weeks. So if you are planning on saving the sim card for later, please take note.
No and expect to receive it several days after it has been activated so you will get around 25 days.
Meh, Boost $20 plan (1GB + unlimited calls and text) is better and you get Telstra 4G
