      Thanks for the message elitistphoenix,

We are a bricks and mortar store based in Melbourne. This is our first 'foray' into online sales. Unfortunately for the time being we do not have an online payment pathway through our website so we have to use trybooking.

If you have any further suggestions to improve our customer experience, we would love to hear them!!

However, we are more than happy to reimburse the $0.30 booking fee to any ozbargainer if they PM us.

      Prost!

      Love the Roktoberfest Team

  • If you are a pop up stall what is the normal price?

    • +4

      Cheers for the message pacsman.

We sell these costumes all throughout the year. Dirndls are $50 and lederhosen are $60 in store. If we get phone orders, we charge $5 for shipping throughout Australia (we absorb some of the freight costs).

We have been thinking about selling costumes online for awhile so we wanted to have a trial with Oktoberfest.

20% off and free express shipping is not a bad deal to start with.

      Prost!

      Love the Roktoberfest Team

        Hi Bensoin,

No worries. Express shipping should have them to you by the end of this week. Can you please PM me and we will work it out?

I take it you are going to Oktoberfest at The German Club that weekend. I was actually there 2 years ago. They have amazing pork belly, make sure you try it.

        Prost!

Just PM'd you. Haha, I'll make sure I get around the Pork Belly!

What are the lederhosen made of?

    • +1

      Hi Mobe1969,

Both are made of a cotton/polyester blend. Unfortunately we are unable to sell the leather lederhosen at this price. When I was in Munich for Oktoberfest a number of years ago, some were going for >$AUD200 !!

The most important thing is that they are beer-resistant!

      Prost!

I wonder if the same people the complain about Halloween in Australia also complain about Oktoberfest is Australia.

    • +3

Tricks and treats vs beer and pretzels.

      Easy decision!!

    • +2

When Halloween involves beer and not lollies then I am in. Until then bugger off you lousy door knockers.

From my experience of watching teen American movies, Halloween parties always seem to include a keg or two 😜

Just had to +ve vote this deal. I was just in Munich for the opening of Oktoberfest. We paid approximately $80aus (50 euro) for the Dirndls and approx $55-$60 (30 euro) for the cotton look Lederhosen.. and we bought those in Berlin a few days out from the Munich Oktoberfest opening!

    • Thanks kimba88.

Experiencing Oktoberfest should definitely be on everyone's bucket list.

Our dirndls and lederhosen are actually quite lightweight so can easily be packed for your next trip!

      Prost!

Not in the market but looks like a good deal. Plenty of first time stores posting here getting hammered due to bad deal and/or poor site. You guys seem very genuine, helpful and were even happy matching a cheaper eBay deal! Keep it up! I will look out for you guys (and recommend to friends) if looking for stuff in the future!

    • Thanks for the encouragement chillybags!

    Any sizing info?

    • yeah what do all the sizes mean. and as i understand it doesn't come with the socks/shirt extras?

      thanks.

    • Hi SMI7HY and redhat,

The sizes are basically standard clothing sizes. Dirndl mediums are ~ size 8-10.

Any further questions, let me know.

      Prost!
