I wouldn't normally post a re-stock but I personally love this wine so thought I would draw attention to it.

From my original post in August:

Finally a new cabernet on Vinomofo! This appears to be 2013 Jeanneret 'Westward We Went' Cabernet Malbec.

Not many reviews out there but personally I like the blend and region so I'm in for a case. Can always send it back.

EDIT: Have received and confirmed it is the Jeanneret 'Westward We Went' Cabernet Malbec.

EDIT: IMO it's a real winner. Very smooth, great flavour, drinkable now. Similar qualities to the Maverick Twins 'Bordeaux blend' and I much prefer it to the Amelia Park Cab Merlot that was popular here. It's a steal at $8.10 and I'll be in for several cases next time it comes up.

  Amelia Park 2012/13 is an amazing wine. Big statement claiming it's a better drop.

    My personal taste/opinion of course…YMMV.

    As I said I only posted this to share my favourable opinion of a wine that otherwise would probably go unnoticed…at a really good price. Hopefully others will enjoy it too.

  Just got an email saying delivery has been delayed by a week (end of next week now), which is a bummer cos I'm hanging to try this now.

  Also read on AusFF that it's better drinking 24 hours after opening. Was that your experience, OP? Did the bottle last that long? (It will in my house, my partner doesn't usually drink red.)

    I got that and another saying "Woops! Sorry, your BLACK MARKET DEAL Cabernet Malbec 2013 should be dispatched by the end of THIS week, not next."

    I think they should give us $50 credit as compensation lol

    I usually use an aerator with a freshly opened red but not the next night (if any left). This one was still very good the next night…not noticeably better or worse to my taste when compared to the aerated pour.

    Might have to run some tests right now…in the interests of human knowledge etc.
