Google Virtual Reality 3D Glasses Magic Box, iPhone/Android $9.95 + Shipping @ Shopping Square

30

Saw this and thought not a bad price for non-cardboard 3D glasses, not sure how good they are tho.
Like the idea that iPhone is now supported

  • Delivery seems to be $7.95 regardless of postcode.

  • Bought something similar.. Works much much better than cardboard but end of day it's still rubbish.

    • Apps or just unit?

      • There's generally a lack of content to play around with, and secondly mostly because of the limited field of view (and limited resolution) it's nothing terribly exciting to play with.

I've got my Ritech and played with it with my LG G2. Even on 1080p res it still lacks clarity because of the way the display splits the video into two parts, one for each eye.

Mine sits in a drawer. Total times used — maybe 4 times.

      • Apps. So the whole idea really, I would hardly even call it 3d. nothing really flies out at you.. I used mine for a total of 10 minutes and it went back in the box.

Will they take three months to arrive like the ones I Still haven't received from gearbest ?

You remind me that mine still not received yet.

      • i finally got mine about 2 weeks ago. used it couple of times and sitting ont the table. Now i just realised i still need to used it 6-7 more times to make it worth the money ….lol

    • Shopping square is pretty quick most times

  • These are fun to play around with for a bit, but NOWHERE close to an Oculus or anything of that sort. The 3D effect is pretty awful. Don't let the YouTubers fool you, Cardboard is just not there yet.

  • The $99.95 RRP made me chortle.
