Samsung Galaxy S6 Black Sapphire 32GB - Unlocked $707.20 @ The Good Guys eBay (+4% Cash Rewards Cashback)

CTGG20

Looks like after the initial jack up of the price this morning they've adjusted this one back down. Was originally listed for $999 when the sale started.
TGG is either reading the thread here, or they got my message, or my ACCC complaint was passed onto them pretty quickly. fingers crossed we'll see some more genuine deals come back.

Don't forget 4% extra off with the cashrewards promo https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/215020

credit to original deal poster for the code https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/214961 (which I negged because of the price increases)

Also Available 64gb white pearl model $743.20: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-SM-G920IZWEXSA-Galaxy-S6-…

      ta. will do

      • All good, thought it was a great deal for people who want/need more storage!

        • They jacked this one pretty hard, it went from $924 to $1149 on the 2nd day.
Pretty sure every other variant has gone up as well.
So with discount it costs around the same as one from mobiciti lol.

  • Was $799 yesterday but I guess this is better than $999.

  • Keep in mind though, the black 32gb was $799 (on their eBay store) last night: http://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/77537/34107/s6-_799.png

    So $799 -> $999 -> $884

    Still jacked up

  • Back down to $884.

    So 20% and 4% off = $671.84 for pickup.

    Should be $639.20 ($799-20%)or $613.63 with 4% discount
Shame on Good Guys for false advertising.

    • hence we don't buy even it is a good price, now wait for next decent price :)

Waiting for the Blackberry Privy and LG V10 to launch, maybe get one of this to replace my Note 3 if the price is right. Note 5 lose my order due to no microsd and removable battery. S6 is too small for me and I don't like the edge series, try it in store and it is difficult to hold properly.

    Screw you TGG

  • Why is this a bad deal?
I bought the 64gb black.. am i gonna regret?

and i didnt have cash rewards when i got it -_-
guess i cannot claim back the 4% huh?

    Help is greatly appreciated

I don't think it is a bad deal, just that it can be better if TGG don't jack up the price overnight.

      • how much was the 64gb prior to the price jack up?

right now its $984 .. what was price b4? :o

btw do u know if i can still get cash rewards despite i forgot to do the whole thing

        • Don't know about the 64GB one but the 32Gb was jacked up from $799 to $999 then $884, I will be supprised if they did not jack up the 64GB too. No, unless you cancel and purchase again.

        • it has been mentioned 3 times here already, please look up ^

          Now 4 times

  • the nikon zoom was $288 before the sale …. cheapest price on Ebay for Australian stock already and with 20% off cheaper than grey market, and was $288 during the same during the sale, as was the sandwich press I bought.

So it does seem cheeky to alter the phone price.

But I imagine the margins are low, so what are their options,

    sell at below cost,

pull from their eBay site (they can then do in-store only)

just have a few for sale on Ebay and then it comes up as out of stock at the old price.

  • Think it's possible that officeworks would price match?
