This has been posted before but mods moved it to the forums because no bargains were listed, just like this post.

Hmm TV I posted yesterday is now $1084 after coupon, a $35.66 saving :P

    • I went down to the DS near my work and they didn't have it on display. Is it an online only thing?

      • No idea! Sorry

    • Noticed that earlier this morning but coupon states it isn't valid against the TV (it could be user error though)

      • Only not valid against Dick Smith brand

  • Didn't include DSE TVs, so I went with a GVA from The Good Guy's on eBay.

  • Can't wait for the a***hole's 100th birthday sale.

THey are not dumb. Pretty much no good offers ever but getting all the advertisement here for free. Should be banned from posting here and i don't mean anything bad against the poster.

Not really I think they generate lots of badwill with each post. I tend to ignore all dse deals and the more they do this the more people will ignore them.

Just yesterday they had a +77 deal and a +86 deal. In 1 day!

This whole 'DS never has good offers' thing is just stupidity and naivety.

What's this about Dick Smith 15th birthday. Thought Dick Smith was founded a lot more than 15 years ago.

    • +12

15years since the last real sale

      • +1

15 years without a real seal.

        Ha-ha so true

Since when did DSE become Sea World?

          @Spackbace:

Since dick realised that it was wasted seamen

15th birthday for their online store. List of exclusions make it no real sale at all.

      • +3

Excludes every thing a person would want. That's no way to make sales.

  • Thanks, forgot to do my daily refresh of DS. The $15 off $75 code haven't appeared in a while.

  • Oh dick, you've done it again.

  • Dick had 15% off for 15 minutes this morning. Surprised that deal never got posted. No mention that Apple products were excluded, but they were.

    • By the time you typed it up, it would have been over.

I expected 15% off for the whole day.

      • True. But I tested the coupon on an iPad and it worked, but price reverted back to full when I reached checkout. Tried the code again and it wasn't accepted. So looks like I missed that window of opportunity.

A quick explanation to Ozbargainers. The Dick Smith offers are 99% crap. If you do happen to find something really cheap buy it but don't share it online.

There is definitely a "Dick Smith mole" that will ensure that any item that is cheap is promptly removed/excluded from the sale as proven by the Panasonic phone special posted last week.

    • Spot on Rort.

The Dick website administrator just needs to check this site for pricing errors / good deals, then they make the changes identified on here, cancels those orders that got through and gets a gold star from the boss. Rinse and repeat.

  • Maybe they've had 500 customers. I'm getting:

Coupon code "PARTY15" is not valid.

    PARTY15 doesn't work for $75.05 keyboard.

Seems like the only items included in this deal are birthday cakes. That is if Dicky sells them in the first place.

i came here just to read the comments :)

Why can't DSE "sales" be banned from OzBargain? People should be posting the actual individual bargains, not just a link to another DSE sale that says: 'Everything on sale! 50% off! see terms and conditions…. t&c: excludes everything'.
